The Apple Apartments reviews
24I’m working with a client at her apartment. I am shocked by the disgust! They had told my client that they had given her one of the nice apartments? It is infested with roaches coming out from the sink, oven, carpet and bathroom! It was previously infested with bedbugs as well and had to get exterminator, throwing away all furniture and had to get all new furniture. The roaches are everywhere she can’t even eat sleep or enjoy herself. Makes it very hard for her to physically and mentally go through her day. This is depressing & absurd! DO NOT MOVE THERE OR LET YOUR LOVED ONE MOVE.
They handle business horrible. There is no communication on there part. They takeyour money then BS. You. I gotta family and i really don't appreciate you wasting 3 weeks of my time. The least you could do is call us back like you keepsaying you will then don't. Thanks for wasting my time Rena and
Crime galore! Very nice on outside but too dark at night! Apt upstairs havent had carpet removed on 3rd floor noisy pipes
At a price of 528 for a studio apartment, I really expected this place to be ghetto. I was wrong. It's clean, quiet, and surprisingly nice. I got a nice corner spot overlooking the clubhouse and the pool. I've had no issues with any utilities or neighbors. No bugs. Everyone is polite and quiet. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone with a limited income. They staff are great too!
I applied for a place and have section 8 yet was denied.when i researched the complex.it stated they eviction forgive and its been over 3 years yet i sas denied
My only advice to all of you is "Make sure you actually see the apartment you will be living in and not the one they have as a "Model" before signing any paper on any Apartment complex". I asked them to let me see the Apartment I was renting and it was all nasty and not ready.
Stuck in this hole for 2 years.my wife and i under circumstance were stuck in this place for 2 years. The staff is ok depending on who you get, The maintenance worst on the planet. Neighbors the worst, loud no care for others, i had to call the cops about 20 times in a week. Ive had windows broken, my wife harassed, myself harassed.unpleasant, unless you want to live near someone whos smoke goes into your house or music is too loud or people stealing laundry this place is for you.but if you dont want to be near any of that. AVOID AT ALL COSTS find somewhere else. Also dont have kids with you here either.not to mention my a/c going out every month and getting a $180+ electric bill for whatever reason
We have lived here for over a year.
OK, so most of us know that dog feces carry disease. About six to nine months ago The Apple Apartments started a leasing campaign and removed a completely useless volleyball set up and replaced it with a nice little dog run. Cool, right?
No, first after a couple months they stopped supplying the little bags. Then, with no bags, people stopped picking up after their animals. When it rained, because the dog run is at a higher elevation, fecal matter washed down into the pool. We now don't use the pool, it was apple green for a while! Several of us, the tenants, have asked to use tools such as rakes and scoops that are present at all times and were refused.
I am now in the process of contacting the health department and was referred to animal control, also. If cannot afford a better place I really empathize with you because we are not able to either. I will also be contacting the building department, there are a bunch of electrical and plumbing issues.
Beyond all that, there is the deal with the maintenance workers. Some really try, but this is not a luxury complex. For instance, we were having an issue with the shower not being able to be adjusted after one of the maintenance workers "fixed" it, especially for my wife and daughters; he jokingly made a reference to my masculinity. So if my wife or children need to bathe they have to suffer if I'm not home. Stoves do not work most of the time for many. The list just goes on.
If you see my rant elsewhere, it is because this is the only thing that get this done.
If you move in don’t trust your appliances. I’ve had my refrigerator “fixed” three times in three months, and I’ve been waiting weeks for them to fix my dishwasher so I don’t flood my downstairs neighbor’s apartment when I use it.
You also have to make a point of reminding these people that you need maintenance in order for them to pretend to fix the broken appliance, and don’t trust the apartment’s pest control. I’ve been here three months, I’ve had my home sprayed 4 times and the roaches are still all over the place
The good thing about this place is the price. I've moved to 2 different units. And the place was eaten up. The cupboards are chipped, and only the surface was clean. Had to major clean the place before moving stuff in. There is a problem with cockroaches. But all apartments seem to have that problem. Putting in work orders and successfully fixing the issue takes weeks. Sure, good for the price.
My experience WAS HELL! The manager's son stole my car key, then I get kicked out for trying to get it back. THEY TRIED TO RUIN MY CREDIT BY TAKING ME TO COURT AND LOSSED! Why, because they are thieves.some way to run a business yet alone a residence where PEOPLE live. I payed MY rent on time and this is how they treat you! Worse PLACE EVER! Run DO NOT live there.and it's roach infested. KEYWORD RUN! Call TPD THEY WILL TELL YOU DON'T LIVE THERE!
The whole complex is sketchy right off the bat. Office is dingy and employees are extremely Unprofessional and ignorant they dont have any courtesy towards they’re residents. They got an entire floor plan wrong and refused to fix it and were not accommodating in any sense. All in all it’s probably a drug front anyway and I would rather be homeless than live there
Affordable living but expect a section- 8 lifestyle. Loud noises are plentiful and the bug life is real lol! You get used to it. Have a pleasant stay.
THE APPLE IT IS NOT THE 29TH STREET BUT THE APARTMENTS OF 4880 E. 29TH STREET TO SEE THE AIR FORCE WORK OUT LIFE. GEAT IN TO THE APPLE. HEY IT IS 29TH. BE THE 1ST AIR LIFE.
I lived there 1 year and 6 months, its cheap but there's bed bugs roaches and the manager really need to learn the prices and deals that they have Oooohhh and besides rattle snakes in the parking lot and another baby one in my closet
I'm not a resident but from I have been told from friends, I could not recommend it. Just the location in which it's sits is enough to drive me away from living there, There are better options nearby.
E moved in end of October a few weeks went by & there was a shooting. Thanks giving day someone was stabbed. I pick up needles, bubbles, & other drug paraphernalia. On Thur site there is a big blue pool, right now it's APPLE GREEN! I bet their kids don't swim in slimy, green pools!
If you like roaches and bed bugs this is the place for you. The roach problem was out of control. They "sprayed " and we bombed afterwards and it just made it worse. The cheap rent isn't worth it.
The staff here do a good job considering the immensity of this complex.
Hats off to you folks and thank you.
Roach infested, high crime area. Police response in a regular basis. Not so friendly neighbors, but great office staff.
