Be very careful before you sign up for a Life Care Plan at the Colonnade or any other Sun Health community. After five years there is no refund of any of your upfront payment. And, if they decide their facilities cannot accommodate you because of advanced dementia behaviors, you will have to find another place to live, as their memory care is limited. Your family will have to find a place for you-and it will be expensive. There will be no refund and you will be relying on medicare. Ask these questions, and get the answers in writing.
