The Copper Hotel, Camp Verde AZ

Stayed two nights for an ok price. There's no way to call or email the hotel for questions or concerns. Therefore, the hotel tried to extra charge our card after we left. All we left was some garbage to be picked up. Nothing broken or damaged, we always make sure the room is in the shape we arrived. Supreme frustrating that there is no way to contact the hotel yet they're trying to take the only money we have left for our kids.

Looks run down in the halls and the bathroom isn't much to speak of, but the rooms are updated and the beds and pillows are soft and plush.

Comfortable, cozy beds! The beds were as comfortable as much more luxury hotels. I had been camping for four days and was craving a comfy bed. It was great. And the room was super clean.

Beds were horrible! The hotel smelled like Marijuana to the high heavens! It was clean for what it was. Breakfast was ridicolous. Orange juice machine was out of service from a year ago. You get what you pay for. Front desk clerk wasn't very talkative or personable. Would never stay again. There are much better choices for sure!

The only problem I had was when making the reservation is it said they had a hot tub well they do it not working. They said the pool was heated it is not but other then that it was great everyone who works here is friendly and helpful.

Great hotel. Nice updated room. Friendly staff. Friday night was very loud. There was alot of high-school kids staying for a tournament. Saturday night was great. I will be back. About 40min to Sedona, 20min to Cottonwood

The room was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed. The new nightstands each had 2 electrical outlets and 2 USB ports, as well as lights with an upper pointing bulb and a lower pointing bulb - very nice for either diffuse lighting or reading. A microwave and good sized refrigerator were provided, as well as a coffee maker with supplies.

The bed was very comfortable, and the bed linens were new and crisp. The towels were also new and fluffy. Everything was spotlessly clean, even the heater/AC unit. It and everything else worked well. I had a good soak in the bathtub. The blackout shade on the large window was nice, and I was pleased to find quality shade cloth behind it when I opened it in the morning.

A small breakfast was served in the lobby beginning at 6: 00am. Each guest is also given 20% off at the nearby Denny's, and 10% off at 2 other restaurants next door. I didn't try the indoor pool and hot tub, but the area looked clean and was stocked with towels.

The best part were the 3 friendly, professional, and helpful staff members I dealt with! This is a welcoming and quiet and comfortable place to stay, and I definitely recommend it.

Hotel remodeled, no breakfast, rather worn as a remodeled hotel. I’d just bypass Camp Verde Az all together.

Rosie at the front desk was very helpful and our room had been recently refurbished! Would definitely stay here again if I’m ever in the area.

Definitely worth it! The atmosphere was pleasant, quiet, and the service was great! The overnight receptionist (male) was very professional and friendly. He was prompt with his service and gave great recommendations for activities. Morning staff (2 females) was nice and cordial but not as personable as overnight staff.

They provide toiletries, coffee in the room, 4 pillows, microwave, mini- fridge, flat screen, table and good towels. There's snack and beverage machines for purchase in the lobby.

Also, the coffee machine was fabulous. The smell was fresh and potent, the taste was robust and rich, and it made my morning and stay better than expected. I'm glad it wasn't an unpleasant atmosphere inside and outside. I also love the 20% off discount at Dennys. Traveling on a budget can be rough.

Disliked · Proper covid-19 measures were taken place but I wish there were pre-packed food/ snacks available to accommodate the price. However it was Memorial Day weekend so I understand.

Bed was very comfortable. Clean linen. Plenty of clean towels and wash clothes. Recent renovtions look good. I liked the black out roller shade too. Nice touch to the room decor. Light fixtures were nice. Plenty of USB charging ports is a definate plus.

Disliked · Fresh paint on the bathroom walls but the tub/shower was obviously in need of replacement. The colors clashed. Plumbing fixtures could be replaced too. TV did not come on at all. The phone was old as well. The back door wasn't locked at all. Some key card security system could be nice.

The rooms are remodeled and nice. Beds are comfortable. Bathrooms are still dated but overall the rooms are nice.

Construction, cop drama and checked in with my dog. The next day somebody says I need to pay extra for my dog. Really?
