The Grumpy Sicilian reviews
19I always order the Sicilian extra crispy and I've never been disappointed. My go to pizza shop. Try it, you'll like it.
We got food here to bring back to the room after drinking a little too much and it was recommended by a local. Everything is pretty big here and we definitely over ordered! What we ate was yummy and hit the spot for a late night place. It is in between bars so very conveniently located. They re-heat the food when you order and it only takes a few minutes and your out of there! I believe they have beer for those who want one when waiting or wanting to dine in.
The pizza here is better than anything I’ve had before! Slices are giant and fairly priced. Staff is super friendly as well! Recommend ordering a slice of the Grumpy Sicilian but everything else is great too!
This pizza was DELICIOUS! I'm not a pizza person, but my kids and husband wanted to try it. So glad we did, because my fav was the Buffalo chicken pizza!
This pizza is INCREDIBLE. We tried the godfather, the white pie, margherita, and the flagship pie (grumpy Sicilian). All were amazing. When it comes to trying to pick between what's best (crust, sauce, or toppings), it's all perfect. The crust is crisp, chewy, and not burnt (nearly impossible balance to achieve)! So good. Definitely coming back.
We’re visiting from out of town and came in for lunch. It was delicious! Definitely recommend. The crust was light and doughy to perfection
I have eaten here many times. Everything is good. The food comes up quickly as well. The big bonus here is if you are a night owl and maybe hanging out along Whiskey Row this place is open past the closing of the bars. So if you didn't eat. You can still get a bite. Big fan of the Sicilian Slices and the Calzones.
Came into Prescott for a weekend getaway. We arrived late in the evening and were very hungry from our drive. We found the grumpy Sicilian on whiskey row. One of the few places open after 10 pm. We had the fried zucchini and 2 slices on pizza. The atmosphere was pretty mellow for a Friday night and loved the decor. Staff was friendly and attentive.
Stromboli, fire. Margarita pizza, my go to. Calzones, solid. Wings, not my favorite. However, my favorite alley access pizza joint in Prescott.
So happy we decided to try this place. The pizza (we ordered The Grumpy) was delicious. Have had real pizza in Sicily and this is just like it. Crust was chewy and crisp. The toppings were fresh and tasty. Fast service, reasonable prices. Will definitly be going back. Tops all the other pizza places in town.
I love their fresh pepperoni and sausage pizza. I'd suggest getting the whole pie FRESH!
Always loved grumpy’s pizza had the best meat lovers ever and the crust was delicious. However, the last three times we went to get pizza there we were deeply disappointed, and today was the last chance I’ll give them. I’ll go to Bill‘s the next time!
We stopped in for a slice for two while we were visiting Whiskey Row and were not disappointed! So many choices, my goodness. The price was right and the pizza, a delight. Yummm! We were right in time for an amazing Corvette show as well. Great job, Prescott!
The margherita pizza was nice, flavorful, and very crispy. The pepperoni mushroom was not.it was overloaded with cheese causing the slice to be floppy. It was $13+ for 2 slices and a small drink. Drinks don't have free refills, it's $1 for refill. Overall, it was okay. Good if you're really hungry.but idk if I'd come back here.
Also my pizza was placed on top of each other.why.
The pizza was great and at a great price. If you are in town and want some good pizza this is the place.
Terrible service when we asked a question we completely got ignored. We ended up buying a pizza and throwing it away because of the terrible service. The bathrooms were clean but the staff in the kitchen was disrespectful. Never going there again.
We can in and wanted to order things for me my friends and my kids while looking at the menu the gelled saying all they have left was the left over pizza from the day. They were rude and when we asked questions they were careless not wanting to even give us a minute of there time even after we bought pizza they were rude! We threw away the pizza we bought and went to the bistro at the corner and so glad we dude don’t come here unless you want to be treated like trash!
Went in an hour before closing. Could not order what we wanted because they were closing soon (fried zucchini or certain pizza’s). The young man working the counter was rubbing and playing with is greasy hair while handling food. He was also vaping while all customers could see. So disgusted and unprofessional!
