I have been a resident at the Halifax for almost 4yrs. A great place to call "home". The entire staff always greet you with a smile and are very helpful to our needs, and are quick to attend to any problems that arise. They have community events and things for the children at least once a month. It is very helpful that all utilities are included in rent. The grounds and facilities are kept clean every day by friendly courteous workers. (Yes there may be tenets who do not pick up after their pets) but maintenance and office staff do their best to stay on top of getting it resolved. The workout room is open 24//7 and is rarely crowded and the pool area is lovely. Parking can be a hassle, but let’s be honest what apartment complex has perfect parking solutions. You are assigned one spot and there is also some unassigned parking spots as well. It is fairly quiet over here, and I really wish they had something bigger than a 3 bedroom to fit my growing family in.

This is the best complex I’ve ever lived in. The staff is friendly and helpful. Maintenance is speedy and friendly. The landscaping always looks good and I genuinely believe the staff want to help whenever I need anything. Very family friendly complex which makes me feel safer.

This place is a scam. If you like living with roaches stay far away from this place.
Don’t believe the ratings online. Big scam.

Where do i even Start first off i moved Out here in may ever since i moved Here i been Having roach problems then they wanna say i have To pay 350 for them to clean that up when they don’t do inspections here. Witch that came out of Candi the manger mouth herself then when you confront them about it they act clueless like they don’t know what you are talking about i would Never come here if you are from out of town don’t move here they are a big SCAM AND THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY. They don’t care about your situation or your health problems they just want money take your 1600 else where and get something nicer and cleaner! The property is trashed people don’t pick up there dog poop and you will step in it the laundry room have roaches and Is always dirty. Managers only care about there half off rent that they receive bcuz I’m pretty sure they won’t be able to afford the rent if they didn’t get that just being honest THIS PLACE NEEDEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN IMMEDIATELY NO EXCEPTION! They never cleaned behind my stove and refrigerator here are some pictures to prove that

I had posted a review about this place when I'd first moved in of how awful it was but low and behold its not posted:) Here I am making sure my review is seen. If you have any self respect I would not touch this complex with a 100-ft pole. Asked to see the actually unit I would be getting before signing the lease, I walk in and theres literally roaches crawling out of the sink. We decided yanno we'll get their pest guy in here and it'll be fine. Except they keep crawling out of our sink, 6 months later. I've seen and heard other tenants talking about bed bugs as well. They force you to pay for a trash service, which I wont lie I thought was cool, until they tell you that you have to use the trashcan they give you and replace it if it breaks, just to have the trash guy purposely throw it at the ground to break it. Like I literally watched him do it. Also, there's no parking. Like none. Its not an exaggeration. If you park on the surrounding roads as well becuase lets say you have 2 vehicles, well one of em is getting towed or ticketed. It will cost you about 200$ a month in tickets to avoid having to park your car a mile away. Also anytime you talk to management they just shove an excuse in your face. It's always excuses. Always. There is no help, just excuses. Surprised these negative reviews havent had any retaliation made against them. Literally as soon as I can move out of this junkyard I will. They trap you into a 13 month lease and the cost to break it is outrageous compared to my last apartments. This place is a joke.

I’ve been a resident for little over 6 months. So far I have had a good experience. When issues arise within my apartment manager is happy to resolve them. Maintenance response time is prompt. I’ve also had great experiences with people in the community as they are friendly. I would totally recommend this place to others.

I left a review a year ago about parking. Now I’m editing it for this because I’d want to know as a new potential tenant. I moved in June 2021. Never seen a roach until November of last year after another tenant moved out downstairs (they must have had them bad) It didn’t become a serious problem until 3-4 months ago. Thank god we moved out and bought a house, but oh my god. We seen and killed at least 10-12 German roaches a day and found a nest with droppings under our fridge next to our neighbors. We never left food out, cleaned with bleach, sealed baseboards, used diatomaceous earth, and essential oils, NOTHING helped because someone in our building had a problem. I called for their “pest” control. Didn’t do a damn thing. I even asked the office to hire my own professional pest control and pay for it myself, and was told it wasn’t allowed… We had to trash our electronics and furniture just to be safe to not bring these spawns of satan with us… to be honest, when I happily put my 30 day notice in, the new manager told me about how she plans to attack the problem by treating every single unit. Which should have been happening before. I hope to god she does. No one deserves to live with these guys. She even made sure I wouldn’t have to pay pro-rated rent next month since technically my notice rolled over to September. So, much appreciated. We lived in building 3, which has an infestation. Many of our neighbors moved out at the same time because of it. I have also heard buildings 7 and 9 have roach AND bed bug problems. I would say don’t even think of renting here. But at least do your due diligence. Besides annoying and loud neighbors, we never had an issue with the place until roaches started rooming with us 18 months after living there. Move in with caution, or avoid all together. I have many videos of them, but I could only post screenshots. Be careful. There are many reviews saying there’s no roaches. I can agree, I seen roach reviews when I moved in, but never seen a roach until November as mentioned. So it varies building to building… but if your building does become an issue, beware, owners don’t care about you or the pest problem.

Glad that we already moved out of this place after living here for 3years. Our unit smelled like weed and even if we complained about it to the office since it says in the lease that they don't allow smoking they did not do anything. The walls are thin so you can hear your neighbor's loud music. The water is being shut off often because of pipe issues. A/C is off from November to March because other people are complaining that they are cold. Police are seen in the complex from time to time. Parking is an issue especially if you have more than one car. People in the office don't communicate well. We placed our 30 day notice and when we would ask other people in the office about they didn't have an idea what we were talking about. We returned our keys but they still called us asking if we returned our keys already.

Now we are being charged for carpet replacement for $600. We don't use slippers/shoes inside our unit and we shampoo our carpet atleast once a month. Now they said that they need to replace it becuase of the pet urine (TAKE NOTE WE DON'T HAVE A PET) I called to ask about the charges and the person I talked to was rude.

The only thing nice about this place is utilities are included in your rent. If you can deal with the constsant smell of weed, noise, parking issues, water being shut off, a/c off during winter then this place is for you.

**Update**

After I called the corporate and sent email with photos of our carpet Candi called me and told me that the maintenance made a mistake. Instead of cleaning they put replacement. Which I'm not surprised
because they are good at not communicating well with each other. So instead of $660 the charge now is $275. They used my $200 deposit and i paid $75.

So if you will move to this place make sure you have pictures of your unit when you move in and when you move out because if not they will charge you for something you didn't do. Because technically they didn't replace our carpet but they want me to pay for it. Good thing I have proof that our carpet is clean when we left.
