The Hay Barn, Gilbert AZ

Every time I get hay here it’s garbage. It’s full of rocks, dirt, weeds and stickers I have to rinse it off before I can feed my horses. They waste half of it Makes me so mad. Waste of my money. What I don’t understand is I know people who get road sides and the hay is fabulous I go pick up my own and it sucks. I’m done getting hay here.

This place sells garbage hay. Ragweed stickers and stems make up half the bale. It's almost like they're getting paid to mow overgrown lots and then selling the garbage as premium hay. I guess that's the reason they tell you to stay in the truck so you can't see yourself getting ripped off. I'm sure they'd be happy to exchange it for more garbage hay but if you do that make sure they open every third bail so you can inspect it before you pay for it.wish I could post a pic to prove it.

I have been getting hay from Nate for years and I never think to leave him a review. Today he delivered a squeeze of hay and I realized how grateful I am for this service, his continued amazing customer service and willingness to help. I think I have taken this service for granted and wanted to be sure to change that and let everyone know that I would recommend the Hay Barn for their honesty, integrity, great hay and stellar customer service. We have been purchasing Teff Hay for our horses for the last two years. We find the hay is the best for our horses and the people who work here are excellent!
