Celebrated our 48th wedding anniversary here. Our waitress, Skyler, was phenomenal. She took the time to greet us on our anniversary, as did the hostess and young man who seated us. Skyler explained everything in great detail and made recommendations that were spot on. We received a complimentary dessert which was fantastic. (Billy Miner pie). The prime rib was cooked to perfection as was my wife's filet. Great place to celebrate. Portions are large, so bring your appetite.

Spencer was our server and gave us a fine dining experience at The Keg! I am confident when you dine in at The Keg in Desert Ridge and request Spencer as tour Server. You will not be disappointed.

The Best Steak House in the Valley, the Only 5 star I've ever given.
Celebrating the last day of my baby sisters 40's! We had Teriyaki Steak, shrimp, scallops and a cheesecake to boot. All was wonderful. Chris our waiter was top notch, friendly, professional and a kind smile.
The Keg has a few places in the Valley to better serve you, we've eaten at all three that I know of.
It's best to make a reservation!
It's a very casual but classy place.
The price tag is more $$$

Went to the Keg on Tuesday night to celebrate my mom's birthday, it was our first time here and we were not very impressed with the experience. When we arrived we got seated very quickly which was nice because we did not have reservations. We got seated in the lounge area which not very comfortable because the seating was at high top tables, multiple TVs with a baseball game on. We felt like we were at a sports club rather than a nice steak restaurant, it was loud and not good lighting.
What we liked:
• Appetizers were good, we had the cauliflower and corn
• Waiter was nice and attentive
What we didn't like:
• Main course was very disappointing, my mom's steak was cooked to death and the portion was tiny
• Seating area not comfortable
Will probably not be back because we paid so much and left disappointed.

Overall just ok. But for the price, not good. My wife ordered medium rare steak. Cooked medium well.
And I know it's not a big thing, but I got burger and fries and only what i can call a ration of ketchup. When I asked for more ketchup, I could tell it was more of a burden. And I never did receive it. Disappointed, probably won't go back.

I had dinner at the bar and of course as you would imagine I had exceptional service with very tasty food, can't wait to get back there again soon.

The cauliflower "mashed potatoes" are nothing more than just broken bits of cauliflower, and you'll pay extra for them (over, say, regular cauliflower). Disappointing. Steak is OK.

Wonderful food, staff are fantastic and really went the extra mile for our anniversary. Thank you for a wonderful evening! Highly recommend!

Great filet mignon. Tender and tasty. Lots of outdoor seating with good ambiance. Love love the minors pie. It's a must to order it!

Really wonderful place for an upper end dinner. The steak was melt in your mouth tender. The lobster was delicious. The sides were all great except for this weird charred creamed corn. It just tasted like charcoal. The server was very attentive and the ambiance was great. It's definitely expensive, but most places like this are. We will definitely go back for the next nice dinner occasion we have.

Came here for our 30th anniversary dinner tonight. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had the best experience! A special thank you to our wonderful server Brittany

Took my 8 old niece there for her birthday and here’s what she has to say:
“ I love the Keg. It is the best restaurant in the whole world. You need to go there and eat some good steak! ” Seriously, The Keg is consistently good. Service is great.

I love going to The Keg. I come here every year for my birthday and it never disappoints.
The steaks are always done to my liking, and the twice baked potatoes are the best.
This last time I went I had the Peppercorn New York Strip. It was fantastic.
The service is always good, and the cocktails are worth the money.

Such a disappointing visit to what used to be my favorite restaurant.last night (9/18/21) I took my oldest daughter to The Keg for a special dinner.it was one of the worst meals i have ever had, and was a huge disappointment for the price.it started out with the appetizers.we decided to splurge and have a fun night and treat ourselves by sampling two different appetizers.we got the "scallop and bacon" and the "Brie with pepper jelly". In all fairness the Brie with pepper jelly was amazing. The scallops wrapped in bacon weren't the best (scallops over cooked) but not a huge deal.then my Caesar salad came, which is big, so my daughter and I shared it.while separating it we found two strands of hair in it.so disgusting, but i let it slide and brushed it off so not t ruin our night. I had asked for bread with the salad but the waiter didn't bring it until the rest meal was almost over. Moving on to the main course. My daughter got the Filet Mignon which arrived raw in the middle.not rare mind you but raw.my dish was were the two lobster tails.the first thing that struck me was that they didn't de-vein one of the lobster tails.yes the poop track was still in it as they brought it to the table; WOW.while they went to bring me another one i started in on the other tail, each was just over an inch wide and about three inches long.the smallest lobster tails I had ever seen.the lobster was cold to the touch, not room temp but cold.the clarified butter they gave me for it was still cold and had pieces of un-melted butter still in it.then about 10 minutes after i had started to eat the cold lobster tail, the waiter beings me a plate of roasted vegetables and says "we forgot to put these on your plate". The vegetables were still RAW white in the middle.the mashed potatoes that came with the dish were actually watery, yes runny on the plate.and lastly the waiter was only able to get around to refilling my iced tea once during the 1 hour and 35 minute meal.the entire meal ended up costing us $175. I am so disappointed with this place because it used to be such a treat to go there.so in summary, this was an amazing place at one time.a place to take someone special to create a special memory.sadly, this is obviously not the place to go anymore.it turned a rare opportunity to have a special night with my daughter into a horrible experience.i recommend you look elsewhere for your upcoming special occasion.

The Baked Garlic Shrimp was very good, loved my entree steak. I wish they had simple veggie sides like steamed broccoli or Carrots

This evening I had the experience of my lifetime while dining at the Keg. The experience started with our lovely waitress Ashley. Ashley showed the same level of energy and tenacity with all of the people that she was serving. This level of service needs to be recognized. I am from NYC visiting and upset that I did not have dinner at the Keg multiple times while in Scottsdale to experience the food and service.

I want everyone to know if you want great food and outstanding service go to the Keg. The Manager Chad even comes to your table to see if you enjoyed your food. Make sure you ask to sit in Ashley section and tell her the family from NYC sent you.
