The Melting Point, Sedona AZ

This was the coolest experience. Went with my husband for our first wedding anniversary to try the glass blowing class and had a blast! Took the afternoon class with Chris. We will definitely be coming back the next time we are in Sedona to do this again. If you get a chance to try their glass blowing class DO IT!

We stop in here every time we are in Sedona. These are legit artists making awesome glass sculptures. I wish there was something besides flowers in the grab bags though. All 3 I have purchased here were the same flower in varying colors.

While this place is absolutely beautiful, that is not why I'm giving it five stars. A gentleman there, I believe he may have been one of the partners, was so gracious and kind and helped me when I was locked out of my room at a nearby Hotel. He allowed me to use his phone to log into my email and when that didn't work he texted the owners and got me back in. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of people in this world who are willing to help out a total stranger like he did. I have no doubt whatsoever he runs his business with the same level of integrity.

This was the most AMAZING experience! One of the coolest things I’ve ever done and I have a new found love & appreciation of glass. Alexa Rose was kind, fun, helpful, and super cool as we made these beautiful creations. I would recommend to everyone!

I took the 6 hour class for beads. OH MY GOODNESS! What a great time! I learned tons and cannot wait to get home and practice what I learned! Doug was my instructor, as patient as can be and made me feel so relaxed! Thanks for being so awesome!

This shop has fabulous glass art, and instruction in both lampwork and blown glass. The instructors are detail oriented, personable, and encouraging. You will go home with something you love

I was in this shop in November 2022 and I purchased a blown glass piece, a carved crab and ra carved rooster on their own individual wood bases.

I truly enjoy these creative treasures. I enjoyed talking to the owner and staff of The Melting Point. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. I will stop in again when I visit Sedona.

The Melting Point is an amazing place to have a special adventure in Sedona. The staff is friendly and very patient. It was fun to see how all the glass treasures are made. I would recommend this activity to anyone coming to the Sedona Area. Wish I could give more stars!

Took a class and made a glass. Great experience and staff to guide and help with the process. The teaching was outstanding and supportive. I wish we were local, no would definitely do it again.

Jordan is an amazing artist and teacher! We enjoyed our glass blowing class a whole lot. He walks you through each step and you end up with a custom piece of art. My girls, ages 14 and 11, loved it!

Alexa Rose was our instructor and she did an amazing job. She was easy to talk to and great at explaining everything. Our projects came out amazing. It was such a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

Finding The Melting Point on our first Sedona trip was sweet serendipity at its finest! They have an amazing shop set up allowing you to view the glass blowing practices OUTSIDE the shop while the glassblowers are working, drawing you in before you enter! As we entered the lobby, we were happily greeted with warm energy and beautiful, energetic glass art pieces and a transparency gallery system where you can watch all the glassblowers and artists at work while you wait. We were offered plenty of safety features as we entered and met our professional who then guided us hands-on, step by step through a once in a lifetime glassblowing experience, allowing us to capture it all on camera at the same time. Would we go back? Of course and we plan to on our next trip!

My mom and I came to Sedona for our annual mother/daughter trip and we stumbled across this glass flower making class. Such an amazing experience! Chris was our instructor and he was absolutely amazing. You can tell he is extremely passionate about his art & loved sharing it with us. He walked us through every step of the process one at a time and was so good at explaining things. I can not recommend this class enough, definitely needs to be a part of any trip to Sedona!
