The Peaks At Santa Rita reviews
10 I have lived at The Peaks for a year. I love living here and I am proud to call The Peaks home.
There are numerous activities and trips available to keep me busy and large open spaces for walks.
One of the most important features for me personally is that I always feel safe when walking on the grounds. Felling safe is a big priority for me and I always feel safe walking the beautiful grounds day or night.
The Peaks has been our home for almost a year. Very quiet, comfortable and private apartments. The meals are excellent and the servers very helpful and attentitive. The meals can easily be boxed to take to your apartment if so desired.
Manaagement is excellent
I have been in the aging industry for over 35 years and can honestly say, this is a community, a family, and yes I work there. However my experience in the aging industry gives me the knowledge to know a great senior community from a not so great community. I know a thing or two!
All staff here are just amazing and guests are all just so caring and look so happy and and activities here are just encouraging. Front desk clerk is so professional
Very nice Casitas and apartments. Love their dinning room area and the ppl are really nice and sweet.
Visiting relative who just moved here this week. Seems to be friendly, lots of options for residents.
The management is very good and the place is well maintained. A major concern is that the food quality has slipped and continues to do so. We have terrific chefs who struggle to put out good meals but do not have the budget to afford decent ingredients.
We recently visited and toured The Peaks. We found the staff to be very friendly and courteous. The buildings, grounds and facilities are well maintained and there are a variety of activities for residents.
I have been a resident since the end of February. My remarks should be understood with that qualification.
Overall, I am pleased with life at The Peaks. The buildings are generally well maintained, quiet, comfortable. Requests for services are promptly met. The comfortable apartment was prepared perfectly to my specifications. The positive attitude toward residents' comfort and needs during the present crisis have been generous and appreciated.
The permanent staff I have met (I am not currently on the meal plan) are without exception helpful, friendly, and considerate. Heroes Do Work Here. We are grateful.
The management is outstanding.
The groundskeeping, unfortunately, is another matter, and frankly I have been surprised. Having served as my HOA's Maintenance Chair at Desert Ridge for five years, I know what a carefully maintained environment should look like. The service (?) employed here was not up to the mark in early summer, though there have been some subsequent improvements. I could append a list about scorched and patchy grass; haphazard sprinkler maintenance; neglected plants; overdue, erratic and misshapen trimming of trees and bushes; too long delayed attention to weeds and the like, But I am sure these details have not escaped notice. Some allowance must be made for our torrid summer and almost non-existent rainfall, but the lonely and desperate Peace rose at the entry to Building #3, having once bloomed so beautifully only to be left it its present distress never to bloom thereafter, may serve as a reminder for a closer look at some elements of the groundskeeping,
In sum: I am happy to live here. Thanks to all who have contributed to my comfort and peace of mind. I hope only for continuing improvements to the groundskeeping as found necessary.
