The Place at El Prado Apartments, Mesa AZ

When I first moved into The Place at El Prado 2 years ago I thought a nice place, clean, friendly staff, quiet perfect for starting over. During my time here I have gone though 2 MAJOR health scares, where I was scared not only for my life and how it could change but also how I was going to keep a roof over my head.
After I spoke with Amber from the front office I was no longer stressing about keeping a roof over my head. Amber worked out a plan with me to make sure I was able to pay rent, and more importantly heal. Amber and all the staff at The Place at El Prado have made me feel at comfortable, safe and most important at HOME.

Thankful that my first and only apartment-living experience was with The Place at El Prado. From being super pet-friendly with no breed restrictions, to being extremely accommodating with 24/7 maintenance for the two emergencies I had, they were a great place to call home. I also paid less for the same space as my first rental with more amenities for myself and the dogs.
One person in particular who made them stand out was Jaden V. (Leasing Assoc with Property.) I had a medical upset in my family and had to request a transfer with work, find a new place to live, and move my life back across the country on short notice. With Covid, things were a little shaky leaving but Jaden was very responsive and professional in helping me coordinate everything while on the road or unpacking/settling in. Passion for helping people and professionalism like this are not found too often under any given stone turned. Thank you, Jaden and El Prado for a great experience.

Amber made our move and transition seamless and easy. She even helped us work out some logistical nightmares. A real pleasure to deal with

The office staff have been very helpful and patient from the start of us being interested to getting our application completed, and so on. The maintinance staff have been really friendly as well, and have been prompt on fixing a couple things in or apartment. I would highly recommend The Place at El Prado.

When you first move here things seem pretty and updated and looks like a great deal but it is not. YOU WILL HAVE ROACHES.if you really take a closer look they don’t care about the property.everyday you walk out of your apartment you will smell urine and crawling out of some random crack that maintenance was to lazy to fill will come crawling a bug.save yourself the disgust and money and find somewhere else unless you’re that desperate.

I have lived here for almost 2 years and had no real issues. The apartment I have is a good fit for me and I love how there is no breed restrictions. Maintenance and the front office are the nicest people. (:

It's hard to get a hold of them for a maintenance request and they charge everyone extra for pest control but they don't come and spray. The price is decent but not for having bugs and it's so crowded there. There BIGGEST problem I do I have is the parking! You get ONE parking space. Why if there's my husband and myself have our own cars like most everyone else does? !? ! So if one of us is not home early enough we have to drive around looking for parking or park really far from our apartment. On TWO separate occasions we had to park in the complex next door!

The office staff are fantastic. I’m always respected and they’re always friendly. I usually deal directly with Donna. She’s such a fun loving friendly person.
I’ve herd the rent rates are going up, I’m hoping that it doesn’t exceed my budget because I really like where I am.

I have had nothing but positive interactions with the staff up front, and no bug problems what so ever. The people around seem friendly.

Lots of pets, which does not bother me. Nice half basketball court, and a good gym.

Parking here is a joke. People park in my assigned spot all the time. I have to look for another spot sometimes for 40 minutes. People at the office don't care. This should be a deal breaker future tenants.

STAY AWAY! Had a pretty decent experience until move out and they decided to completely screw me over! Horrible horrible company

Price decent. The workers are more than rude as hell and fake. The dog park is to be cleaned once a month and is so over due that my dog eyes swell up and get infected from instantly going into the dog park. The apartments with more, you will find dog feces that people refuse to pick up even though they will be charged extra rent. Make sure you don't have bad neighbors or your dog never barks or your dog will be kicked out. After paying 400$ to move her in.

This place has dog feces every where and I mean everywhere.it sits for weeks.when you complain to management they do nothing and are rude.the owners of the complex do nothing.the grounds have trash and cigarette butts all over and when you walk outside the drug smell is horrible.some of the maintenance guys are rude.the property is trashy.they let anyone move in and I mean anyone.the health board should be called

We have lived in this complex for almost 3 years. It's had its good things and bad things, but in the last few years since management has changed and we no longer have the on duty security guard there is a LOT of noise and music at night. And not just on weekends. Almost every night. We have horrible neighbors that have their kids running around until sometimes 11 at night and they adults are too busy drinking to put them to bed. There are also people who smoke and don't clean up after themselves and leave it on our doorstep. Then there is the obnoxious music and/or fighting that happens all hours of the night. I can't tell you how many times I've woken up to people having a party or having an all out screaming match at 2 in the morning. The few good things I will say about this place is that they have a pretty good dog policy and the maintenance staff are really great guys who do a good job. But if you like to go to bed at a decent hour, have dogs that can't help bark if someone is close by or have kids, this is not the place for you.

The Hood Can Be Masked With Hidden Provisions. It Was Basic Back In The Day, But Hath Made Up Some Ground. However, This Newly Reinvented Spot Is Like, "Beauty And The Beast. " And The Beast Appears To Be Related To Management.

Moved in to an apartment infested with bed bugs, cockroaches, and bees that swarm our balcony. The walls are infested with the cockroaches and bed bugs making it near impossible to get rid of they come right back. Staff absolutely does not care about our bug problems. When our neighbors smoke weed and cigarettes it gets in through our vents making our whole apartment stink. Walls are so thin we can hear absolutely everything. There is no quiet hours so neighbors will be super loud all night long. Our neighbors sit on the steps and don’t move when we are trying to get to our apartment. Worst apartment I’ve lived in so far.

This place is something else. We were told we are to move out by th 22nd so we did but we were charged the whole month of rent. So they told us we would get back a refund of the remaining days. Then they call and say we owe them until the 12th of the next month. I asked well why did u tell us to move out by the 22nd we could have stayed until the 12th of the next month. They said there's nothing we can do about it I know how u feel.haha.it's all just a joke to them. So I would not recommend staying here because they are not very honest in what they say. I'm just so upset that we couldn't come to an understanding n meet half way. Don't trust anything Amber or the manager tells you.they will backstabb u n say I never said that.just my reason I don't like the management there.

The staff are terrible the maintenance crew are rude when they come into your apartment to work on stuff the rummage through everything not to mention they look shady af
they harass you about your vehicles if they sit in an uncovered spot for too long and threaten to tow it even though there are other cars that have sat way longer than mine and are still sitting there the best thing about this place was no breed restrictions and a dog park
but othere than that It was one of the worst places I've lived wouldnt recommend this place to anyone!

MC Life is A garbage management company. I had absolutely no issues prior to them Once the MC management company took over things have gone downhill. The office employees are absolutely useless and unorganized. They give away your packages to just about anyone without a care in the world. We are supposed to trust the office staff to receive your items and make sure they get into the correct hands. They have lost my packages 2 times and do not even have a care in the world. They are incompetent. I shouldn't have to ship my future items to a different location just so i can be sure they don't get lost.

The staff is t great about picking up phones and it's always easier to just go in person. We had a bug problem when we first moved in but we bought some bait of amazon that got rid of it. For the price it's not too bad we got an upgraded apartment and it looks nice. Maintenance is on top of it so anytime something wrong they come pretty quickly.
