The Rebel Lounge reviews
29I was so happy to hear this place reopened as a music venue/bar. Minnus the dirty ass place it use to be it's still fun and great. I died a little inside when it closed a the mason jar. So many memories of this place. Have had a blast the past few times we've been here.
The 80s this bar was known as the mason bar my experience watching my high school buddies with their rock in band opening to the thrashing metal metal band of Testament that was an awesome that was an awesome experience experience
The venue is a nice venue. But the staff is incredibly rude. I took my 8 year old disabled brother to an ALL AGES show and despite calling ahead of time to make sure it was okay for him, he was still severely pushed around and ignored by security. After confronting the security guard about him being pushed he told me “what did you expect, he shouldn’t be here”. Later on they offered me a chair which was no help. My brother was so excited, just to be shot down and told he shouldn’t be there. He managed to have fun and danced all night in the back to his favorite artist, but I could tell what that security guard said to him reall hurt his feelings. I do not reccomend this place to anyone, kid or not, the way they treat people is ridiculous. Do not let an artist hold an all ages event, if you do not have the proper staff and attitude to do so.
Loved watching Bedland, Micah Bentley, and Stox. Great bands and this is a stellar venue for watching them.
The legendary Mason Jar is now the Rebel Lounge. Good place to see live music. Bartenders are friendly and they have a sitting area or stand and rock out with your favorite bands! Parking not so great but place has nice vibe.
Street parking in the neighborhood, small smoking patio and slow bar service. On the other hand, the sound for the bands is much better here than at some smaller venues.
It was a cool, little venue to see a concert. The band is literally right in front of you! Definitely recommend it.
Prolli wont go see a show here ever again! Wayyyy too crowded, yes, the show was sold out, however, if there was a fire, I firmly believe people would have died
