The Scott Resort & Spa (formerly FireSky Resort) reviews
32We stayed for 2 nights here and were very impressed. The hotel itself is clean and designed beautifully with lots a great detail that really make an impact! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful; they really went the extra mile for us. The pool was busy but nice and relaxing - definitely not a "party" pool. The Canal Club is a great place to grab some drinks or food too. The location is great as well, as they are right by Old Town where theres lots of shopping, restaurants and bars. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!
The resort is beautiful, and within walking distance of old town Scottsdale. However, the service, if you want to eat there on their lovely patios, is slower than slow. Our biggest beef by far was that the place was overrun by influencers - teenyboppers in fake orange tans posing themselves all over the place (like in our faces while we hung out by the pool, and taking up the lovely patios.) If the resort has to use them for their advertising, I'm not super impressed.
Staff is superior. Does not matter if you are out poolside or in bar, restaurant or needing a shuttle to an offsite venue, they are there for you. Food is good, bar is great.
I think it is just an ok resort. Room was clean with nice fixtures but the exhaust in the bathroom doesn't work. That's why it easily fog up when taking a shower. No sofa in the room to lounge on. John's is so close to the shower glass wall that it almost touches your skin when taking a d@mp. No closing door at the shower stall that water spills/splashes out when taking a shower. Pool area obstructs your way to your room.
The only place I stay when in Scottsdale. Great staff. Benny, Will, Andrew and Jordan are all great.
Character and one of a kind, with no detail left out, from the vintage record players, beverage carts, Cuban styled lobby and wicker furniture to the jungle and beautiful center courtyard! You won't forget this place!
Three star hotel at best. The resort is going through major renovations so do not expect much from it. Pools are filthy due to the overgrown landscape around them. Called room service and had to leave voice mail for them to call us back to order dinner and they never did. Rooms need a lot of help, the bathrooms smelled like mold. But then again you are in Scottsdale and it is cheap so do not expect 5 star service!
BEAUTIFUL lobby, nice service and staff, complimentary shuttle (within 3 mile radius), and pretty good location (not RIGHT in the center of all things Scottsdale, but close enough). I was here on business. Docking a star because the buildings that house the rooms lacked pizzazz (room itself was cute and boutique-y and very spacious), and there are no elevators (only 2 stories though).
Love this resort! The pool is so pretty. Also they are remodeling all the rooms it’s going to be even nicer. Very unique very quaint, and a really good summer/staycation rate too.
Only went here for breakfast on 2 occasions but was beautiful. Service was wonderful especially Robert, surrounding perfect and food lovely
We didn't stay over night but are planning a staycation. We had drinks and the chicken skewers at the Canal club. Our waitress was very attentive and sweet! The chicken skewers were amazing and drinks were great.
It's very clean and housekeeping is in every day. Everyone is very helpful and kind. Once you enter the resort you can no longer hear the sounds of the city it feels like your on a Caribbean island and so peacefull.
Very nice resort with a nice pool and various outdoor sitting areas. It has a bar, restaurant and spa and several good restaurants within a 15 minute walk. I also enjoyed being close to the Arizona Canal which is a great place to go for a walk, run, or bicycle ride.
Fantastic vintage Cuban deco chic.rooms are comfortable, pool is gorgeous! Staff are amazing! Here on a convention, would come back on my own!
Enjoyable breakfast and walk around the property. Beautiful motif. Med century modern, Havana style. Relaxed environment. Gorgeous front room/lobby.
Really nice hotel for what we got it for. The the grounds and decor are absolutely gorgeous! Forgot i was in the middle of the dessert. The food and drinks at the canal club where really good also. They just need to work on the dessert menu. Overall an amazing experience and definitely will be back.
This hotel is terrific. We have really enjoyed our stay every time. We will be back there soon enough and looking forward to it!
The room was nice, there was a tear in the carpet to the tile and my wife caught her foot. Resort was nice and clean. The pools were way too warm and kind of foggy and a disappointment for these reasons. Overall was very nice stay, few areas of dissapointment.
Setup in a newly remodeled room, first night the shower didn't work, but they quickly fixed it! Food is great! Service is great! Hospitality is wonderful! They are so nice and friendly!
The pool area and courtyard areas are phenomenal. Great night time atmosphere. So many different places to hang out with your group of people.
