The Skillet Cafe' reviews
18 Been three now with my co-workers and bosses;
Foods been great everytime.
Service is great and the decor is fun.
Always good food breakfast is usually what I have Here the decor is a good read and staff are super friendly
Service and food is great.:) the server brought me out my breakfast toast first while I waited for my food to finish cooking and she was so friendly.
My boyfriend & I like going here for breakfast. They serve it anytime of day. It's always good, everytime! We had to wait for a table. It was worth the wait & it was only about 15-20 minute wait.
This used to be our "go to" for breakfasts and the occasional burger. In recent months the food has suffered a bit. We went back for the first time in a few weeks. The food was decent, but we got to sit through some sort of sermon blairing on the radio. I've no issue with faith, but if I want to be preached to, I'll go to church, not lunch.
We waited for 30 minutes before we got are food and we notice that some customers were seated after us and they got their food before us. Food was great but y'all need to work on your service.

I Love this place. The fisherman basket is really good. I do miss the elk burgers though. Friendly staff and an excellent place to eat with the whole family.
The food is good, service is ok but the place is so noisy! The acoustics are non existent! I have to remove my hearing aids and it's a small restaurant but for whatever reason everyone is talking loudly!
LOVE this place! Delicious homestyle food. This is my family's typical Sunday spot, where we usually order our same favorite dishes. Literally have never had to complain.great service, clean dining and restrooms, good prices and healthy portions, and just a cozy, country, family oriented environment. Just ate here yesterday. I ordered my Denver omelet, my hubby ordered the Country Benny and our kids shared a pizza and fries from the kids menu. Only spent 33$ to feed us four, including 3 drinks. Always recommended
Have lived in Lakeside for years and never knew about this place in Snowflake good food busy place
Let's start with the good. The french fries were tasty nothing special but the best thing we had. The portion size for a side order was tremendous.
The bad, I had the walnut chicken cranberry salad as did 3 others at my table. The lettuce mix was larger than bite size, larger than hand size for some pieces. The chicken was a grilled chicken breast; however it tasted like it had been frozen, unthawed in water and served cold. There was nothing to say it was grilled. I left feeling sick as did another from my table. I still feel sick the next day. I wouldn't say food poisoning just an upset stomach from less than quality food that was expensive.
Very friendly staff and very delicious food.
If you ever get hungry, head here to get a nice hot meal and your money's worth.
I go there for an occasional breakfast. It's always good. Attentive wait staff.
Better breakfast than most restaurants in Heber-Overgaard.
I ordered eggs, bacon, toast and hashbrowns. The EBT was good but the hashbrowns left something to be desired. Good service though
We have always liked the food and service at the Skillet. Today was no exception with Jeff as our waiter. The only problem is it's not open more evenings.
This restaurant is a gem! Everytime we come from the valley we stop to eat here. The service is friendly, the food portions are big and generous and taste amazing. You definitely won't leave hungry.
Out of two menu items during peak hours. Ordered fried mushrooms in place of, came out beautiful, but frozen in the middle. Returned same mushrooms to our table after deep frying them again, not so beautiful, greasy.and the breading was off the mushrooms, and it was very, dark and hard. I worked in food service most of my life, you do not take a item from a table, refry them n send them out looking like garbage. This is a business, sorry your feelings got hurt, and you threw them back in, already broke down oil from a busy day. A fifty dollar tab at lunch, to boot. Expected something totally different. I did enjoy the signage on the walls, and front of the house, and restrooms were clean. The wait staff were nice n apologetic on our issues.
