The Spicery In Our 1895 Home, Glendale AZ

Three of us recently enjoyed an early lunch here to celebrate my friend's birthday. The service provided by Deanna was incredible; she was warm and engaging, never rushed us, and offered great suggestions. I ordered the asparagus and crab quiche, one friend ordered the tuna salad sandwich and the other ordered the spinach salad. All plates were generous. My meal was wonderful, and we all enjoyed the famous - and enormous - yeast rolls. Desserts are unbelievable. We shared the cherry cheesecake, a warm cream puff, and coconut pie. All were fantastic. Everything about this restaurant is lovely.

First time coming to this place and loved it! Love the tea, and the sweets. The employers are amazing and friendly!

I loved going here as a child for tea with my mom, and the new owners have kept it just as delightful as it used to be. Such warmth from the staff, delicious food, and beautiful surroundings. This place is a treasure.

The new owners are literally Historic Caitlin District royalty and their love of Glendale along with their dedication to making this area a destination is admirable! The chef is fantastic the teas were phenomenal The entire staff was terrific I will go back again and again!

This is very quaint and I enjoyed it. It was a little too cold inside and that's the reason for 4 stars.

The new owners are doing a wonderful job of maintaining the charm and ambiance of the historic tea room. The staff is friendly and service oriented. A very enjoyable experience.

My mom and I went for afternoon tea. The atmosphere was wonderful. We loved the tea and desserts. Couldn't get enough. Would highly recommend. Our only problem was the owner. He has a very odd sense of humor. He is a bit cocky and made us feel very uncomfortable. Otherwise, we loved it and will be back. My husband and I are going for the Father's day brunch. Can't wait!

Wonderful lunch with friends then shopping at The Cottage Garden II down the block. The food here is incredibly fresh and tasty.

Nice and quaint and friendly atmosphere. The food was great and enjoyable. Although I only had soup and salad with some fresh brewed berry tea, it was very enjoyable. I hope I can make it back to try something else. Everything looked enjoyable as I saw it brought out to the tables. Give it a try! They are more than happy to please here! Oh yea and the freshly baked roll was awesome too!

Oh my gosh… outstanding restaurant: the ambiance, food and Staff … will be our “go to” restaurant for brunch next time we are in the Phoenix area

Incredibly unaccommodating, unless you make an advanced reservation don't even try. We had to hike back and forth for parking with my infant daughter only to be turned away.

Stood there for near 15 minutes at the door waiting for a woman to do her books only to have been told they were at capacity and a reservation is a requirement. The website says reservation is recommended, not required. A little disappointed we didn't get to stay and the greeter could have been more attentive and warm. It's really unprofessional to have someone stand there while you complete a book keeping task that could be continued after greeting someone. The warmth just wasn't there for such a quaint looking little place. Perhaps another chance will be given provided now O know there's a reservation requirement.

I had such an amazing experience. The atmosphere was perfect. Every Tea we tried was delicious. The food was outstanding. Ryan was our server and he was the best. Very catering to us and checking in on us. Joy was a joy lol she made our first time experience the best and more personal. Will definitely go back to try the lunch menu. Love love love ️
