The Thing (roadside attraction), Arizona

I was expecting much less and they delivered much more. Cool stop with all of the antique vehicles. They have a veterans discount.

Such a cool place to visit with the family, which was $10 for a family of four (discounted price). Regular admission is $5. Loved reading all the facts and pictures from back in history, and seeing what could have happened at the beginning of history. What if?

Literally the best most American roadside stop in the country. Even if you don’t have time please stop here and support the insane exhibit

Amazing. Wonderful. I've been all around this country and have made it a life's goal to see as many roadside attractions as I find. This one is by far my favorite I've ever seen. I'm a little biased being from Arizona and my love for aliens, dinosaurs, and Western Americana. Stop in if you have time. The exhibit to see the thing is $5 at the time I'm writing this review. The gift shop is to be expected. A lot of overpriced, made in China stuff with "Arizona" and "the thing" printed on it. There are a lot of really beautifully hand crafted, native jewelry. Highly recommend. 10 out of 10.

My dad took me here when I was a teenager, and it is one of the best memories I have with him. The advertising reaches hilariously far (as far as central Texas on I-10 if I'm remembering correctly) and the exhibit lived up to the hype. The Thing is life changing. Just make sure to bring an offering of silver or you may never return.

Great for the kids. Lots of things to look at in the museum and store. We stopped in randomly while heading from Willcox KOA to Benson. Was worth the stop.

Tremendous enjoyable surprise on our cross- country trip. Prepare for 90 minutes or more of museum exploration and high quality displays.

Neat little road side attraction, wouldn't go out of my way to see it but it was along our route and we got a kick out of the exhibit

Beautiful turquoise, Jewlrey, souvenirs, tshirts, purses, shoes, toys and even snacks. The people were extremely nice. The tour of the exhibit was fun and let’s just say interesting. I have to say it was worth the stop to take a gander! Heck we even bought a Dilly Bar on the way out.

You know.as far as roadside attractions go, this one was well worth the stop. The people were really nice, the place was clean and there was tons to look at/shop for. As for The Thing itself? Gotta see it to believe it.

Everyone was really nice, and the whole place was clean, fun, and a nice stop worth visiting! Lots of cool gift items to browse through too! We didn’t have time to see “The Thing, ” but it was still a nice stop regardless.
