The UPS Store reviews
7I went to this UPS store because it was most convenient, and the closest to the businesses and residential areas in North Tucson (Oracle, Catalina, Saddlebrooke, etc.), where I reside. The person that helped me was very frazzled and not friendly at all. She was confused when asked to ship my item - although I did try to help her, she ignored me and wasn't interested in listening. Matter of fact she was talking to me as if I was the confused one, which I wasn't. Hopefully my item makes it to its destination, and is well preserved/intact. She did mention as I left that she had hired new workers and was a bit overwhelmed. It showed. Awkward timing for this particular UPS store, I suppose.
I delivered a package for the store on or about 25 April to be sent by UPS, tracking 1Z2A05729088044562. It was an AMAZON return. The package doesn't appear to have been sent because it was never received by the receiving party. Value over $900.00. Be careful what you take to this store. No track on the item.
I have always received excellent service from the staff at this location. The staff has no control over the fees charged by UPS and it is unfair to criticize them for that.
Well, they got the job done for me, but I was kind of shocked when he rung me up. I needed 1 page printed. Normally, I do this at an office Max or staples, but I wasn’t familiar with the area and found this store. Normally, I simply email it to the store, go there, print it, and pay $. 15 per page. At the ups store, they have to print it for you. Other than that, the process is similar, but they charge $2.85 for one page. That’s right - 19 times more than the competition. Don’t think I’ll go back unless I’m desperate because the end result is the same at both retailers but the price does not reflect any added value. I recommend using Staples or Office Max to everyone. Only gave them two stars because I at least got what I needed albeit way over priced.
During the week, the people who run this location are very businesslike. Not particularly friendly, have seldom seen a smile, but that is not required to be efficient. But on a Sunday, however, I have twice run into service that seemed to delay my package return to Amazon. I always ask how things are going if the attendant does not speak first. Both times he said almost the same, that he was tired and could not wait to get out of the place. I handed the package toward him, and he did not move a muscle. He looked down at the metal platform and said, "there. " I let that roll off my back, there is a lot of attitude in kids working in small businesses from Oro Valley north. Then, he could not resist saying, "Maybe you can help me with this. Why do people always try to hand me the package when it obviously goes there? " I resisted say, "I don't know, because it's your job? " I just said I didn't think a lot of people would identify that immediately as a scale, and didn't say I would never presume to do something with their equipment. Anyway, then on both occasions, my packages did not get registered and headed back on time as they always do during the week. So then a call is required.
Had excellent customer service from Chris who was friendly, and was extremely professional at handling the order of costumers, courteous with his driver who showed up while he had a long line, and handled my complicated package as well as everyone else in a timely manner despite costumers rolling in well after closing time! Thank you for the help!
I have taken prepaid packages there several times. Each and every time the ladies have been professional, courteous and friendly. I am usually there just a few minutes, in and out and packages are taken care of. I never hesitate going to the store, as I know I will be taken care of and the packages will be received.
