The sales associate (young lady) working day shift on Gurley on 09/11 was very RUDE to me and my husband (76 years old).

A long time customer here. Most of the people who work here are super nice, until last week. I arrived close to closing time, and the young lady was visibly upset. I apologized for being here so close to closing but I only have a few Amazon returns. She was short and never smiled, more of a snarl. My wife was offended and expressed that to me on the way out. The young lady followed us out and said she was busy closing up and this was slowing that process! Like I said, everyone else has been great, this one is a cancer.

I love this store. I’ve had a box here for a while now. Friendly employees, easy mail pick-up, drop-off of Amazon returns (provided you follow Amazon’s instructions on which packages need boxes). I love that my packages are safe. I get a text when they receive something, which is super helpful. Veronica and Hailey always greet me and my husband with a smile. They handle stress well when customers get upset with things out of their control. Good location all around

Parking is hard sometimes but the service and staff are so friendly and helpful I really enjoy going to this location anyways.

I recently had a less-than-pleasant experience at my local UPS store which I think is important to share. A friend, who found themselves in need of their medications, entrusted me with the task of shipping these vital items overnight. The clerk at the store, Veronica, was my point of contact during this process.

I specifically communicated to Veronica the urgency of the situation and my need for overnight shipping with Saturday delivery. She repeatedly highlighted the "expensive" nature of such a request, a fact I was fully aware of and had acknowledged multiple times.

The conversation proceeded until we reached a quote of $103 for the shipment. Deeming the cost a little steep, my friend texted me to opt for Monday delivery instead. It was at this point that Veronica informed me that the original $103 quote was actually for Monday delivery, not Saturday. This was in contradiction to our previous discussion, which specifically revolved around Saturday delivery. What was even more perplexing is that she mentioned they don't offer Saturday deliveries at all, information that should have been shared at the beginning of our interaction.

I queried Veronica on why she hadn't clarified this crucial detail earlier, but was met with a dismissive shrug and no constructive response. This lack of communication and poor customer service was disappointing, to say the least.

Fortunately, my story ends on a positive note as I managed to reach the local post office in time. They were able to deliver my friend's package overnight for a significantly smaller fee of $10. Despite the eventual success of my errand, the overall experience at the UPS store was far from satisfactory due to the lack of transparent communication and courteous service.

UPDATED REVIEW: 6/8/23 - my previous visits to this store were always dreadful - mainly due to one specific female employee who was insanely rude to every single person she interacted with. Yesterday I went back for the first time in over a year, to pick up a package. The new employees were so kind and helpful. I watched one of the girls help a very elderly man, and she was so patient with him the entire time; no matter how many times she had to repeat herself for the man to fully understand. All around they were both wonderful and I’m so glad to see that the store finally has kind people helping out the customers. I had to come back and change my review to reflect the new staff.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: 2022 - I’m not sure if it’s something I say or do, but I always try to be genuinely kind to people in customer service because I work in it as well and I know how taxing it can be. But for some reason, whenever I come to this store for my Amazon returns, the girl with the wrist tattoo is always exceedingly rude to me. I see her the same way with other customers so I know it’s not a unique experience, but I genuinely don’t understand what or how to make this go more smoothly. I’m not trying to get her fired by any means, but something needs to change. I shouldn’t have anxiety if she is the one who calls me over to be helped, but I dread having to interact with her because it’s almost as if she goes out of her way to be genuinely rude. The guy who works there is always super nice and helpful, so I usually try to wait for him, but sometimes her assistance is inevitable. I think I’ll just drive the extra miles and do my returns at Kohl’s from now on.

I go out of my way to go to the Gurley Street store. The parking sucks but the young lady who is there, as today is always pleasant. She couldn't be more helpful or pleasant.

I use this shop fairly frequently, and usually have adequate service. Today was horrible. 2 young "ladies" with straight brown hair had the worst attitudes: snippy, rude, interupting, unhelpful, defensive, and condescending. I went in with a shipping issue, and immediately said I was not blaming them, but wanted to know if they had anyway to help me track a lost package.as I did not have a receipt. They did finally offer to call their manager for me (while telling me she would not be able to help me either), but the manager did offer sulutions which were in fact very helpful. Then the 2 "ladies" told me to have a nice rest of the day.somehow it didn't seam genuine ;-). There needs to be some training in basic human communication, civility, and CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I always go to this location. I have been very happy with the employees. My last visit I was surprised at a new young lady with long brown hair, she was very snippy. She needs an attitude adjustment. For the the other employees thank you so much for your service. I will consider going to a different location.
