The Wag Dog Salon reviews
16I am a regular here! I love my groomer Kirilynn is amazing. My dogs Babbitt and Kaba love her! The other staff is so helpful and kind?
Took my beautiful little boy here and he could not be happier with his treatment. Wags all round!
UPDATE: Due to a recent increase in constant nickel-and-diming and poor service level I’ve adjusted our review. Apparently our 29 lb dog (listed on the vaccination record they requested from the vet) qualifies as a large dog now. In addition, we have been getting hit with demat fees for minimal matting around our dog’s chin (good luck curly hair dog owners). The final nail in the coffin is the fee being included in the total when they calculate a % tip and this new “convenience” fee.
Bonus: Also had a previous negative experience where we were waiting for a call to pick up our dog and instead received a call from a rude employee asking where we are and the store is closing soon. We had never received the call or text we were told to expect and I guess that means being rude to your customers is okay.
We took our 3 pound teacup poodle here for a haircut. He’s 8 years old and this was probably the best haircut he has received. We till be taking him here every time going forward.
Took my dog here for the first time recently. Overall the experience was okay but her cut was kind of janky. Seems like maybe someone new to dog grooming did the cut. It was uneven and choppy. Couple spots that look like they went a little too short and they were kind of red. Not the greatest haircut but not the worst.
Tiara is my new hero! My large pup is terrified of getting his nails cut and has been rejected by so many groomers due to his tantrums. Tiara was so patient with him and has been the FIRST groomer ever to get his nails cut! She gave us some homework to help try to desensitize him and by how comfortable my sensitive boy is he really loved Tiara! You’re so amazing and we can’t wait to work with her moving forward! - Dallyn and Cry Baby Kingston
I brought my senior yorkie girl here for the first time today. From start to finish this place was amazing. Booking an appointment was very easy & the girls I spoke with were incredibly pleasant. When I walked in, I was greeted by Darren right away & he said this must be Hannah. I really appreciated that personal touch. Darren spoke with me, we went over her medical conditions & he helped me figure out what I wanted in Hannah's haircut. I felt so at ease with him, and normally I get very nervous leaving my girl just about anywhere. I really felt comfortable that she was in great hands. Her haircut is so adorable! She looks amazing after her grooming. I highly recommend The Wag Dog Salon. Prices are also very reasonable!
Always happy with the grooming of my doggie. They are so nice and very good with all of the doggies they service.
My 6lb dog was attacked by a large poodle as a result of the groomers failure to ensure that the poodle leash was on correctly. When I address the problem with management there tone was unapologetic.
If you want a doggy daycare then this is the place to go. They take at least 4 to 5 hours to complete a grooming and that is for a 10 pound dog. Look into the place that is opening next to HomeGoods!
The best. My dog looks great and smells great after every appointment. Staff is amazing and I'm able to get in quickly.
Made an early appt on a Friday.due to plans. Took Our furry baby in at 11It was for a bath and trim. Called at 1 pm he was just going in for his bath. They said in a couple hours. Went at 3 that's a couple hours. He didnt even get his trim or nails done. I've been coming here for awhile. I dont know if they have new owners. But I will not take my furry baby here. I wonder why he was shaking when I took him in. Very very disappointed.
Walked in to sign saying to ring for service. Rang, waited 5 minutes with no response, not even a “be up in a minute”, just absolutely no one there. At this point my dog started to panic, which led to the second ring. Still no response after another few minutes, and all we needed was a walk in nail trim. Dark hallway with an open door and no one to address customers? I didn’t want to be there another minute, let alone send my dog into their facility. I believe dogs have a intuition and I’ll be listening to my pup after the poor experience I had at Wag.
Wishing Wag good luck with their business and hoping they take constructive feedback seriously.
Our Charlie doesn't like going to the groomers. He's a very anxious dog
The Wag dog salon did such a great job loving on him and grooming him. We will definitely be back.
Took our dogs to this groomer, and have been ok with this groomer before. Today they did poorly on our Pomeranian and they too nearly 5 hours. Her cut is uneven and choppy too. We have had an appointment for 2 months. They said they had too many large dogs. Sounds like poor planning. A older lady before us was also very upset at how long they had her dog. If you can't do a better job then you don't deserve our business.
We were very happy with the grooming Jodie got at Wag Dog Salon. Jessica listened to me and totally got what I wanted. The pricing was even reasonable!
