The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa, Scottsdale AZ

I am disappointed that internet access was not available when attending a conference here (unless you had a room, which I didn't) and I even offered to pay for it, and they said "it can't be done, that's the way it is " so I literally had to leave to go work offsite. I have never had that happen at a Westin before. Pretty bummed to see this is now the deal.

Great facility with great amenities. Make sure to visit whiskey bar. It's an experience you can not miss. Nice walking trail and golf course. Plenty of option to eat so you don't have to go anyplace else.

Stopped here for a work function. Nice place. The bagpipe player was something I hadn't experienced before. Food was good, but, resort pricing. Highly recommend the pear martini!

This past weekend Riding Tandem had the pleasure of working with Christina from the event planning team. She was super helpful and it was a joy to work with her.

Stayed over for a charity event. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, especially the concierge.
Clean, modern rooms with very comfortable bed.

Certainly not what i had experienced on myast visit 6 yrs ago. We had black.mold in the shower and dust bunnies at the ac inlet. Had housekeeping come to sort out the ac and was spoken to by the tech in a manner that was nothing less than rude. Tech assumed as a guest i had never operated an ac when in actual fact the ac was just broken. Most likely will never return to this locatio and suggest you look at competitors resorts before mKing a decision.

The Westin felt like an upscale hotel when you first walked in the lobby but once you got out to the pools and use the amenities you begin to realize this place is more than a nice hotel. This place is a resort. Everyone is very professional, the rooms are very nice and there is plenty of things to do on site.
There are multiple pools some are kid friendly and others are adults only. While ate the pool there are waiters that bring you fresh water and take your order for food. At the small kid friendly pool they had contests for the whole family and gave away prizes to the winners. (that was almost everyone). They also have a flow rider to test your surfing skills, and a lazy river to get your float on. Very relaxing.
Most importantly their gym had great cardio equipment, towels, bottle water and decent amount of free weights and machines. Their gym is open 24 hours a day.
I really like the property and hope my next stay I can play a round of golf on their prestine course. If your planning a trip to North Scottsdale I recommend booking a stay at the Westin.

This is was my second time at the hotel. Both for business. Staff was superlative. On their game making sure everyone was taken care of at all times. Can say enough good things. Our group was around 750 people should you want to plan a large event.

FYI pic is the hole coming in towards the rear of the hotel. Not sure which number and I didn't get to play golf but heard everyone loved the course.

This is a great and beautiful resort! It is close to great shops and dining options, with plenty to do close by. If you're into golf, this is a great place to stay and play on the beautiful course behind the hotel. I've stayed at this location a couple of times now and it has never disappointed! I look forward to staying here again given the opportunity to do so.

Amazing resort. Food, drinks, and atmosphere were too notch, golf course was fun and service was outstanding.

I was on Friday, November 5 at 2 am, delivering food to a client from the hotel, suddenly a security guard on an electric scooter with a flashlight jumped out, and shining a flashlight in my eyes shouted that I had violated something. At first I thought it was the police, but then I realized that it was a security guard. He shouted that I had parked incorrectly. First time in this hotel, why shout so much and overreact, and exceed authority?

Great resort but the the river run closes too early (4pm) and they stop service to the adult pool to early (4pm also). We were bummed about the early closures/ service stop.

I love the experience of this restaurant! The food is consistently delicious. The meatloaf is a must try. My favorite part is checking out the games while waiting for our food to get there. It's so fun for kids and for an adult friends' night out! I love that it is right by the parking garage and in the heart of downtown. The wait staff has always been friendly and the restaurant is very clean.
