The Westin Phoenix Downtown

Was charged 350 for a room I didn't even use because I was lied to by a hotel employee. The Westin refused to help me. Marriott customer service refused to help me. Months later I'm still waiting on a call back from both.

The rooms were okay wish there was better water pressure, impeccable customer service, from the staff.loved the staff at the restaurant though. Those guys had me laughing for hours! I had made a reservation at flemings for dinner, heard it was the best. But the bartender and manager provided the best service that I skipped my reservation and just stayed there to have dinner. Loved it and plus I was staying at the hotel.so even more convenient.

Not sure why it’s a 4 star hotel. Room was cleaned using the bare minimum effort. Stayed in the king deluxe room with city view and there’s no microwave. Stayed on the 13th floor and the view consisted of looking at rooftops of dirty buildings. Towels reeked of the scent of an old closet. Pool is SO small and there’s only one pool. You would think a 4 star hotel that charges so much would have two pools.the only good thing is the concierge. They’ll give you whatever you need whenever you call them for assistance.

Fairly clean. Friendly staff and quick room service. On the pricy side. No breakfast included. No bathtub, just a shower.

What a beautiful way to stay in the city of Phoenix. The Westin provides top-notch service, clean rooms, and terrific city views! We love the security they provide: doors are locked at night, so only people with key cards can get in. You also need your key card to operate the elevators. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The pool area and outdoor patio are a slice of heaven in the sunshine. We can walk nearly anywhere we’d need to go, so no unnecessary parking charges or Uber fees. We are very happy with our choice to come here over other hotels in the city, and have enjoyed our stay so far!

Horrible customer service. I just called to make a reservation for my birthday and I ask they amount for Deposit also any resort fees and was told they don’t know I would be told when I get to the hotel. That is so strange to me that you would be making reservations but don’t know details that are so important when you have people coming from other states. Very disappointed was really looking forward to the bath & views

Last minute check in last night before New Years, the front desk and manager were very helpful and accommodating. Loved the locked doors when entering the hotel and security presence. Rooms were perfect! In the morning, my family and I had breakfast at the restaurant, although they were busy. Christina and the rest of the staff provided excellent customer service! Since it was too cold for my daughters, we decided to have dinner at the restaurant…we are glad we did! Cory was nothing less than excellent! The hostess was attentive when the bartender was busy! The same manager we saw when we checked in was present tonight and we had a chance to have some laughs. He was great and even brought our food out to us in a timely manner! We will definitely return! Thank you Westin team and happy new year!

Amazing property with nice big corner suite rooms. Great location close walking distance of plenty of restaurants. Well secured key access to entire building and floors. Great staff super helpful one of the best Marriott properties we have frequented! The staffs ability to fill requests is unmatched. This property should be a 1st choice in Phoenix.

I don't normally write bad reviews Customer service at this Motel is rude. I found hair in my room. I also found some of what I looked to be bed bugs in my bed I was staying with friends when they came into town. I will not be coming back nor will I tell anyone else to come

Not a very good experience for the price 9f the stay. No valet on site. Was told by the employee on duty we could find parking by the some fence down at the.end of the road. Staff was not very helpful at all. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone

Great hotel will stay there again only reason not for 5 stars was the Ac did not cool enough for me. I had it set to lowest setting but dod not seem to keep up. Wonderfull view

Halfway through my stay and have to say this hotel is perfect. Fantastic room, great view & location, restaurants amazing

NO PARKING the price your pay doesn't include the parking they have valet parking for 39 dollars and the closest self-parking cost $4 per hour or $29 a night street parking limited to 2 hours only good hotel but not worth the price and the hassle for parking

Where do I even start…
We reserved a corner room with the bath tub (I was really looking forward to it & that was low key why we booked this hotel) and then when we get there… the water comes out brown! We had to have maintenance come & they couldn’t figure it out. We had reservations at 5: 30 but since they were in the restroom for so long, I had to rush to get ready to make it on time… they moved us to another room & the same thing… the water was brown!
They didn’t offer anything to us except to cancel our reservation… but where are we supposed to stay that last minute?

Very annoyed & disappointed

I have never stayed here nor will I ever! Horrible human relations! Note try being kind to humans #1 and allow someone in need a restroom to use one! I have health issues and needed to urinate! We are all not hurting humans that are homeless. Start caring for humans!

My appt was at 2pm on Nov 9,2021, I was being interviewed for front desk clerk position that the company has a opening. It's very luxurious and my first time stepping in let alone staying at a luxurious hotel as the Westin. I couldn't believe a company would have me as a candidate.

The Westin is a beautiful hotel, very clean with large rooms! The front desk staff is nice, not overly welcoming, but nice. The valet staff are exceptional, they took great care of me the entire time! I was hoping for room service or at least a convenient store in the lobby, but no. The restaurant is great and you can do take out! I love the location of this hotel, it is an easy walk to restaurants, bars, ASU, shopping, post office, and so much more!

Nicely appointed rooms and good customer service. Valet is extremely, extremely, extremely slow. About 15 min to retrieve your car average.

This hotel was absolutely beautiful. The staff were friendly and attentive. I went to the restaurant one morning to ask for change for the bus and the guy and young lady working there gave me some very helpful tips on traveling the city alone. The encouraged me to use a Lyft or Uber versus catching public trans. That made me feel good and was very thoughtful. It showed that they care! I don’t remember their name but want to say thank you! The restaurant food was amazing! I ordered the wings and a drink.delicious!

My room was a deluxe king with floor to ceiling windows with a view of the mountains! The room was over 500 square feet and it was super clean! The bed and pillows were so comfortable. That’s the best sleep I’ve had while being on vacation. Yes, it’s in downtown Phoenix. Public trans is right outside the hotel, even though I didn’t use it. There are restaurants within the vicinity. I highly recommend this hotel!
