Our mailboxes are broken and have been since 6/14/2022. Each time I ask where they are at in repair, I get a different story. Hand delivered 10-Day Notice to them on 8/1/2022 stating will sue for reimbursement of costs required to pick up mail at the post office (only open weekdays when I am at work in North Scottsdale and 3 short hours on Saturday). Leaving work early is putting my job at risk.

Nice.clean outside society gate.rent to high.and need a fence around their patio of all the apartments and not just the ones onstreet side by office

Water is always turned off and they don’t give notice either, office is always closed during business hours workers are just inside hanging out, never answer the phone, take forever to fix things in apt, over priced apartments for appliances that are old and don’t work. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE place to live. DO NOT MOVE HERE. I can’t wait for my lease to end in May. Such a horrible experience living here. Ever since new management took over this place has turned upside down

ROACH INFESTED, ROACH INFESTED, ROACH INFESTED, ROACH INFESTED. DO NOT MOVE HERE. Management is horrible, Isidoro Guzman is very rude management and is out for your money do not trust him, maintenance don’t fix nothing. I never heard of an apartment where you can not hang anything up on the wall. We was charged a $1,300 fee for damages all because we tried to hang up our flat screen and they tried to over charge me after I was done paying the damage fee. They just want your money. I recommend you do not move in these apartments. They don’t even deserve the 1 star I did give them. There the worst so far!

DO NOT MOVE HERE! My neighbor and I have got sprayed 3 times in 1 week and the bugs have not gone away the management is shady and rude. I have made maintenance requests they cancel them this is a horrible place and is not up to health code I was miss lead in the renting process and I will be contacting the state. The police are here 24/7.no one should move here I repeat no one.

Repairs, such as they are, are not done in a timely manner. Zero communication. We’ve been without hot water pressure and now hot water period in the kitchen since March 4th. Barely been here a month and regret it with everything in me. They are not helpful whatsoever. Apartment was filthy, and everything so painted it does not close or open properly. It’s truly the worst place I’ve ever lived.

This Place always has something wrong, to shutting off the water the next day without a notice on the door, people coming into the apartment complex that are not suppose to be in here due to a broken gate, consistently breaking into cars and stealing them with a wide open gate. Also ambulance, police can hardly get in here due to gate malfunctions even in life or death situations. Finding syringes in the parking lot next to your parking. People have access to the buildings power boxes, Due to not having a lock on them anyone can shut off eletrical at anytime. Manager puts tow stickers on cars that have recent filed tags and plates neighbors complain about having there car towed and impounded due to just having a tow sticker on the car. Other then that maintenance is amazing hard workers, always on time with pick ups or fix ups. Management has been improving well! Just thought I should bring to the surface what no one gets to see at night.

I have lived here since 2016. I have to admit I was not happy when first here.
The management from shelton properties has been making great changes.

I have lived at the Villa Serena Apartments for 15 years there were always all kinds of problems here until the new management mr. Guzman Community manager and is very awesome friendly staff have done an awesome job here repainting the apartment buildings cleaning up the parking lot grounds re-roofing all the apartments checked on me to make sure everything was up to par and my apartment when I have had any kind of a problem it was always fixed in 2 days and they always check back with me to make sure it was okay they go the extra mile to make sure that you are happy living here so if you are looking for a great place to live you will love living here and will feel very welcome

We are movers from PA and we were apartment hunting all over that area; however, Villa Serena Apartments stood out the most. We felt very welcomed and received the best help and tour by the manager and his team. The apartments had a very homey feel to them and were SPARKLING clean! In addition to multiple perks that come with the apartments! It is literally a hidden diamond! We are very excited to be moving into this community soon and calling it our new home!

I have been in this community for almost a year now, I must say the people in the office have been nothing more but helpful, when I request for maintenance they come out the next business day! They keep our community clean which is a big plus to anyone’s living environment. It’s quiet place and The neighbors all mind their business and speak to each other as needed friendly place to live.

Maintenance is always available. When you have an issue they resolve quickly. They even have parcel pending so you don't have to worry about people taking your stuff. We don't have that problem here but its extra security. Nice and gated community. Isador who is in charge and Stella are awesome people who made this place safe. This is the best apartment complex that I have lived at so far. Its also nice that when ever their is a problem with parking or someone taking your assigned parking place, it gets resolved that day. I can't imagine living anywhere else. Theirs also washer and dyers in the unit which makes it very convenient and patio as well. I love this place. This place is very well taken care of.

I just recently relocated on a very short notice and I was surprised at the helpfulness and timelines of both of the current leasing representatives. I am a week old tenant and I’m very excited for our future as Villa Serena Residents! Thank you guys!

Been living here for a year and a half now. Moving out because I bought a home. The management has been great to deal with. Isidoro has always answered my question respectfully. I've had my air conditioner leak a few times and they made sure to get it resolved right away. Have had nothing but good experiences here at villa serena. Its a nice quiet apartment complex. No crazy neighbors or unpleasant people. Great place to live.

I moved here since 2018 January and I still live here. I do like this place. Quick response for maintenance issue and quiet here And also private parking lot for each apartment. I do recommend the apartment.

The male manager of complex struggles with human response to covid, hard situations, and having kindness towards apartment owners. They have towed cars for unexplained reasons to only later put up signs, charges fees without explanations to then give a 5 day notice, increased rent to unreasonable point that does not represent the condition of apartments. The apartments themselves are old, have cracks in ceiling, tub paint chipping, have had the water turned off multiple times without a warning, and need overall big upgrades for the amount of rent they are asking. Not to mention I have never seen the pool open. You have multiple long term leasing customers moving out because of the male management at this location. Maintenance workers are great and have so much personality and kindness. They work hard at keeping area clean. If you are a manager of a complex you need to have customer service and the male manager at this location has none! He only cares about money and his movement in the company. There has been multiple complaints about his demeanor and care for the complex and people who live here but I have seen no change in his ability to work with the people in this complex at a human level. I do not live here but have visited and have great relationships with people who do live here. I am writing this review on behalf of the complex residents and future readers.

I knew 2 different couples living there for years. The center buildings are roach infested. The water lines are terrible. It seemed like every other week they would wake up with no water or the bath room tubs look like they’re coming off the wall. I tried twice to get a 2 bedroom when my friends first move in; Management was horrible. Never returned my calls, never got an appointment for a tour. The General Manager seems to put other properties first before this one. I don’t usually do reviews but this should show you how frustrated I was, and I didn't even live there!

My friend lived here and I hated visiting her. The pictures do not represent the real thing at all. Not a great neighborhood. She would wake up and her car would be messed with on a regular basis. You can also smell the Asian fish market that's near by. So glad she moved out to a different place so I don't have to ever go back.
