We celebrated my husband’s birthday here and it did not disappoint! The food and service were amazing and we can’t wait to go back.

G was our server and he did an absolutely amazing job. It was our anniversary and they treated us like royalty. The entire staff said hi gave us recommendations and congratulated us on our celebration. We had the lobster bruschetta, pork belly, filet and trout and I rate them all a 12 out of 10. It was one of the best meals and dinning experiences I have ever had. If you haven’t been here it is a must do when you are in Flagstaff!

The food was excellent as well as the service! All the recommendations for wine, salad, appetizer and entrees were spot on!

All aspects of the experience were top notch. Professional level service, appetizers and meals were so well combined and prepared. We split an off the charts pistachio based desert. We will be back for sure and so happy to have this establishment local to Flagstaff.

Top tier. Appetizer was just slightly cooler than I would have expected, Filet and Duck were very well prepared. Service was obviously something that was a focus for this restaurant.

We had a fantastic dinner. The roasted garlic was to die for! We had the pork belly and duck and they were both great. The service was outstanding, from the hostess to our waitress everyone was friendly and informative. What a wonderful evening!

Just go, stop reading the Reviews and GO. Seriously put the phone down and just go. The kitchen crew the front of house they are all astonishing and go above and beyond to give you a Culinary experience rarely found in places like this. Cant praise them enough.

What a fantastic experience here was a special anniversary for us and the food, service and staff were exceptional and highly recommend to anyone traveling in the Southwest.

Dined in solo—-how do you make someone wait more than 10 minutes for bread whilst other tables get serviced and acknowledged. Careless. Worth skipping if passing flagstaff.

Could not say enough good things about this place. The service was very good - multiple people making sure that we were taken care of and they were very informative and outgoing. The Lobster bruschetta, duck, and filet were probably our favorites - although it was all very good!

Very welcoming from the minute we walked in. Our waitress, Rachel, was spectacular; knowledgeable and personable while humble enough to ask the sommelier to provide a recommendation to complement our meal. Our filet, steelhead and mussels were exquisitely prepared and matched perfectly with our wine. For an exceptional dining experience we highly recommended Tinderbox.

**Very unprofessional service**

If the basic hospitality rule is “know how to manage your restaurant”, they don’t know it.

We had a reservation at 9pm and when we got there our table was still occupied by the previous guests. We were invited to take a seat to the bar next door at our expenses and to wait no less than 20 minutes because “we do not throw people out”.

We waited outside for a while and when we noticed that they were still accepting order from the previous guests we left.

Everywhere in this world if you have two dining shifts, you tell the guests from the first one to free up the table when needed.

My husband, daughter and I dined here lastnight. We were only in Flagstaff for the evening, so we were sure to find a restaurant that looked really good - and this place did not disappoint.

The menu items are electric, without being "too out there" ans the flavor combinations are great. The wine list is extensive. A huge thank you to thr bartender, who created a mocktail for my 11 year old! She thought it was the greatest.

We had the lobster bruschetta, salad, troust, and filet - all delicious. The lemon crepe with espresso at the end of a satisfying meal was a good way to end the evening.

Our waitress (I forgot her name, sorry!), was patient and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed our meal here and highly recommend Tinderbox. If we are ever again in Flagstaff, we will most definitely be back. Thank you!

Came here on a recommendation of AirBnB host and it did not disappoint. We were seated at the e bar and I had the lobster bruschetta. Perfect amount for me but can be an appetizer. Delicious! I tried the Sonora Sun cocktail and loved! Talk to the amazing bartender Ryan, he’s extremely knowledgeable. He’s getting married soon. Enjoy!

We are total foodies/harsh critics & I cannot express enough how blown away we were by the unique and delicious selection. Definitely like nothing we’ve had before. Unique tastes and different takes. Come with an open mind/palate and you will be mesmerized.

Upscale restaurant that I was able to grab a seat at the small bar as I was solo on this trip.i’d recommend hitting their site for a reservation just to make sure yiu can get in. The staff, food and service were amazing - highlight of the trip. The brie appetizer was great, and the chef complimented an amazing pallete cleanser afterwards. The steelhead trout and blue cornbread main was the star of the meal. Went with the unique dessert option of Pistachio Vanilla Sable to finish off the meal. Overall just a fantastic experience!

Talk about talent! This Chef and his crew are absolutely remarkable. The wait staff was kind, knowledgeable, and added the perfect amount of professionalism to this elevated experience. This is absolutely a must try, followed by a keep on the list when in town if you’re from out of town. Exceptional, exquisite, incredible. If I’m in Flagstaff I will be eating here. The experience was that great. Management was very kind and clearly runs a great FOH. I don’t have photos to add, because everything looked so good we didn’t hesitate to dive in. The Gnocchi melt in your mouth, sauce was perfect. Pineapple pork belly was another deconstructed marvel. The mozzarella roulade was a new experience and it hit perfectly. Any time you can taste the talent and care of the Chef in their dishes, you know you’ve come to the right place. This is one of the top 10 restaurants in AZ definitely. I wish it was in Scottsdale.

Absolutely loved this restaurant! First timers on our last visit to Flagstaff and we will be back. The brie, sweetbreads and filet mignon were all amazing. Reasonably priced fine dining and impeccable service. Their sister cocktail bar next door is also a great stop either before or after dinner.

Nice modern restaurant where the kitchen seems like it puts in a great effort not only towards the taste and unique nature of the food but the presentation as well. Not too crazy; just right. We went for an anniversary and were comped glasses of champagne; nice touch. Server was very attentive and high effort as well, but could maybe use a little coaching on how many questions (not) to ask about a traveler’s trip to AZ while serving at a fine dining restaurant. Overall, great efforts all around and it shows. Ambiance seems trendy but comfortable.
