Toi's Thai Kitchen reviews
16We stopped here on a road trip and couldn't stop talking about how good the food was, so we stopped again on the way home! The food was delicious and the service was great.
DELICIOUS We got two different currys and pad kee mao and fried tofu - all of it was fantastic. It was so good we had to stop again for take out on our way back through town. Lots of vegetarian options, three of our dishes were and they were great. The flavors were excellent and our server was warm and welcoming. Would eat here again for sure!
A little gem.
Fresh, tasty, good portion size. Friendly service. Better Thai food here than I've had in popular restaurants in major cities. No alcohol served, but perhaps okay for BYOB?
Wonderful experience! All I was looking for was a bathroom, but I found my new favorite Thai place! The staff was very nice and the food was so good. I had shrimp rolls, thai coffee and fried bananas, delicious all around. I want to go back to try the tom kah gaui, and my dad is interested in the Pho. A return visit is definitely in order
This place is great! We were only in town for 5 days and ended up eating here twice because it was so good! Not a lot of seating, so it's possible it might be difficult to get a seat sometimes, but we were quickly seated both nights. Service was friendly and helpful. But the star is the food. Delicious!
I'm a huge fan of Chicken Curry, yellows my favorite and Toi's Thai in Prescott Valley Arizona makes the best yellow chicken Curry I've tasted in my life. I've only recently started eating Chicken Currys, when I tried it for the first time a little over two years ago and I was instantly hooked. I've tried it at around ten different places and Toi's is the best one yet. They also have other great food so everyone can get something made with fresh and delicious ingredients. You'll enjoy whatever you get there I guarantee. Also the staff are incredibly friendly and courteous.
I just wanted to update my original review, but I wish I could write a whole 2nd and 3rd review. If we could continue to write multiple reviews every year or every other time we at a place. Toi's Thai is still the best Thai food, with the very best waitstaff to boot. If you haven't made it in here yet you better.
Great little find. Had a terrific bowl of pho. Nothing fancy, but it doesn't have to be. Will be back.
I love this place, it has never disappointed me. I got the Pad Thai with chicken with a level 4 spice and it was phenomenal. I always looks forward to eating here. The staff is very nice and their food is authentic. If you don't like this place and their food.you're wrong. 10/10
Earl was as nice as I remembered. He is an asset to any place he works. The food was very good and will be back soon.
Me and my partner were in town for the weekend and were recommended to try this place for take out. We were not disappointed… the person taking our order on the phone was friendly and patient taking our order, the food was (chef’s kiss) delicious.
My partner got the tamarind duck and chicken toast, I got the chicken won ton soup and salad with peanut sauce. I didn’t pick up the order so I can’t speak to the atmosphere, but everything else was worth it.
I’ve been coming here for over 10 years now and still love this place. We moved away and came back about a year and half ago and this was one the first places we ate at. Any curry is great and the chicken fried rice at a 4 star is legit. I also recommend the chicken toast and Thai Tea. Come get some Toi’s already!
The food is unbelievably good. The place is very clean, and the service was amazing. 10/10 across the board.
I've only done take out, so I don't know about table service, but the food has always been fresh and tasty. Only complaint would be sometimes we don't get the amount of spice we request, but, that can be worked on as long as the food is good overall.which it is!
Let me start by saying the service was great and many customers gave good reviews so it may just be our perspective. I got the drunken noodles which were mushy and broken down. Much too overdone for my taste. Vegetables were a mix of soft and undercooked. The flavor was just ok but tasted mostly sodium. Nothing special. My friend got the chicken noodles and said it was bland.
First visit, drove 10 miles on recommendation of someone, looked forward to really good Thai. Sorry to say, I was unimpressed! Really hate to hurt small businesses, but there's zero spice or flavor in the food. It is fresh though, so points for freshness! They serve rice and a small salad with meals, that's a plus. However, they brought really "full" beautiful looking salads on plates to the large group next to me and brought me a very sparsely filled small bowl, when I asked if the salad that group got was different, she said no, it's the same, yours is in a bowl, their's was on a plate. I don't think that made the difference!
I requested both dishes to be spice level 5, even repeated it 3-4x to be sure server understood, level 5 is too hot for most people, but I love spicy hot food, esp Thai. The veggies are barely cooked, check the photo of the raw zucchini in my dish. Garlic dish had no garlic or even a hint of garlic. Pad Thai is extremely liquidy (look at the amount of sauce in the box) and other than extremely sweet, no heat, flavor, or bean sprouts. Nice people, but they need to cook good Thai with the right spices. When I requested spices, I didn't receive the usual Thai spices, I got Chinese instead, a bottle of soy (not spicey), and a bottle of red chili sauce, nothing else. Small place, very tight squeeze inside and not very clean. Small parking area, ok for Sunday, but might be a problem when other businesses across street are open on weekdays. If you want to try it, I'd say go for it, but as for me, I won't drive out of my way again.
This is a little hidden gem. I am so glad we gave it a try. They have the best pho and spring rolls I have had in years. The flavors are packed and bursting. If you need help deciding, they will help you find the right dish based on your palate, depending on preferences and desired spice levels. My husband absolutely loved the cashew stir fry with beef and the satay chicken.
