Tom's Fine Furniture & Collectibles reviews
19Sadly, it pains me to leave a negative review for a place I’ve always liked to shop, but recently moved and needed to make room. Took in pictures to Toms, waited in line and saw buyer who said there were so many good items that they definitely wanted that they would like to come to the house. Left name and number was told it would be a couple weeks. NEVER received so much as a call. I called to check in and was told “buyer was very busy, but I was on list to call” waited another week nothing, called back, same response. Now it’s been well over a month. Never got even the courtesy of a call. Ended up selling items directly online through CL and social media. Granted I made more $ selling directly, However it was a huge waist of my time waiting for Tom’s, why bother taking all the photos and standing in line etc? I could excuse all of it if I had been extended the courtesy of good communication. You would think they would be sad to miss out on Ralph Lauren Leather chesterfields, Old Hickory Tannery, King Hickory Century Fine Furnishings, and other high end desirable name brands in pristine condition. Sorry Tom’s I’ve always loved you, and promoted you, but your customer service and communication skills leave a lot to be desired.
Yes.yes.yes. You need to stop in here and see what they've got. All the things for the house you never knew you needed until you got here!
Tom's is the best. They have all kinds of items, big and small for reasonable prices. The people who work there are super friendly. I love going in and browsing. They don't pressure you. Try it, you'll like it!
I have to say I'm going to be buying alot of items from this store. It's so beautiful, ita huge and so any antiques to look at. Plan on spending an 1-2Hours to look around.
Always something unique. Going there is like a treasure hunt. They have antique, southwestern, and mid century mod furniture, art, lamps, mirrors, rugs, housewares, clothing, jewelry, etc, etc. And most are very high quality items.
Great place they have just about anything you can think of that's an antique. Loaded with goodies and they have another store and another one opening soon.
How fine can the products at this establishment when it can’t even spell its own business’ name. The sign outside reads “collectables. ” Really sad.
Great place to start and finish a design project in Tucson. Very fine estates pieces as well as hard to fine items. Priced to sell items. Navigation of the location is sometimes overwhelming with the abundance of merchandise. Price is firm and a no is usually followed with trying to get a reduction in price. I still regret not buying the modern four post desert bed oh well there is always tomorrow. Location is easy to get to if you are from Tucson. Beautiful carpets are always in style and available with that said call ahead and see if they have anything special and have them send photos save you a lot of time and missing out on an item. Staff very helpful and eager to close a sale for I believe they are all on commission. My suggestion for Toms is if you see something you like buy it. You won’t be disappointed.
Very fun antique store to browse through. I've been here a few times just to see all of the neat treasures hidden about. If you like antique shopping or finding bits of the past it's worth a visit.
This place is a gem! I’ve stumbled around in here on many occasions even when I wasn’t in the market for anything in particular. If you love good decor, and you are into unique pieces, Tom’s is the place for you! I bought my wife a classic jadeite jewelry box here. Every single time I walk in this place, their are always fresh beautiful and interesting items! The photo in this review for instance. I’m an old jarhead, and to find a beautiful bit of Marine Corps history nestled in a corner of this amazing shop in Tucson really blew me away. I can’t say enough, if you’ve even just got an hour to kill and are in the area, check this place out. You won’t be disappointed!
Lovely, lovely selection of items. Real antiques. Amazing staff.
Wish the fans were spread out a bit more, but i was in there for like 2 hours.
Easy parking.
We love Tom's! It's an adventure everytime we visit. Hugh variety of furniture, chairs, accessories. We've purchased a number of beautiful items for our home. If you haven't been there, GO!
Great stuff-pretty dang pricey! It can be tough to get a good look at things because of how it's packed in.
Wonderful, interesting, unique selection of furniture and antique merchandise! This location is much larger that the store on Grant Road. Love it! Saving up for a beautiful wood dresser I saw there but delivery is expensive and the only reason it didn't get 5 stars. Also, salesman on Grant was nice but the salesman in Pima Street store was not very polite and didn't seem to want to be bothered.
Won't be coming back. I looked around for a long time before someone approached to ask if I needed help. When they did they gave me a strange look.
So I decided to go over to look at jewelry and asked if they had anything from Morocco. The woman at the counter didn't even bother showing me anything. She told me to go to the GEM Show. I had been to that show more than once and they don't sell antique jewelry from my experience.
There was some jewelry I liked so I pointed at it but she wouldn't even take it out of the case for me to get a closer look. Wow. So they lost a sale and yes the things here are highly priced.
The guys who work here are phenomenal! Very knowledgeable and extremely kind. If you’re looking for outdoor furniture make sure to check out the Grant location. Huge selection of quality furniture. Unique finds.
Amazing shop! Don't expect cheap prices, but if you are looking for unique, interesting, or exotic items to spice up your decor, this is the place!
Very high priced. 2x - 3x based on my experience. Mix of items is good, but quality is low. No great finds here.
It was a place for everyone with every bank account. It was fun and the employee was a tremendous help and knowledgeable.
