Had the chance to get out of Phoenix for a couple of days and I enjoyed it so much forgot how much nature has to appreciate that we so often overlook or ignore be cause of the high tech world that we live in. Spent the last two days in the Tonto Basin area and the views there are spectacular some of the best I've experienced. Thank you to Rick and Melissa for because without those two this trip would not have been possible. Had a great time

Not a bad place to camp, Arnett rd about 3mi from Superior, not too trashed out, sure seen more than a few drunks, always break beer bottles and leave a lot of cans. It is dry camping, bring what you need, pack out your trash

Such a beautiful! Lake Acacia point is the swimming area but they're also other beautiful places to swim or fish. They also have a steamboat that tours around the lake a great lake that's clean and close by definitely worth the visit.

I always love hiking here it's gorgeous. You can backpack or hike or trailrun, I've seen it all! It definitely gets pretty crowded on the weekend.

Great camp sites with places to explore all over the place. Just be aware of the weather forecast and layer up

Beautiful area. A must drive is rte88 through the superstitions. You must stop at tortilla flats for a bowl of chilli

It's a beautiful National Forest; Family and dog friendly. There is areas for picnicing and different trails not very long, but if going on the bridge theree is paths somewhat narrow and if going in monsoon season you can see water coming down where the cave opens up! Theres lots of rocks and cliffs that you can climb freestylee on to explore and take pictures but the higher you go is more at your own risk! (There is water inside and rocks are slippery) also a light weight jacket is not a bad idea fore ig gets cooler in shades areas and past the bridge into the cave

Just drive the speed limit down the hills and don't wreck so I don't have to come up with my tow truck and pick you up when it says 15 mile an hour to 15 mile an hour

The view out here was beautiful. The trails were well kept as well as the ATV trails. There wasn't any trash or litter.

I LOVE HIKING! Tonto NationalForest is near my home and there are MANY different trails for hiking, biking, running, q quading, etc. Please be safe and carry enough water and sun protection as well as a cellphone for emergencies.

My first time coming here. The hikes were super easy and it was so pretty down at the waterfall. There were 2 trails that were closed off due to flooding but it was still a relaxing day with beautiful scenery.

It is a huge HUGE national forest!
Open country! Beautiful vistas!
Camping, hiking, fishing - oh my!

You can have the time of your life!
You can also get yourself killed, so be careful!
Use your common sense.
Don't feed forest wildlife.
Campfires in established pits only & dead out before you leave.
Tell people where you are going & when to expect your return.
Say 'hi' to the rangers. They are your friends, your hosts - and your heros when you need help.

The world's lushest desert offers breathtaking sites that will make you feel as though you're on another planet.

Super nice staff. It's just off the road by Lake Roosevelt. We just went to the lower site. It's a shy moderate climb. My two year old hiked the entire way. You get to walk among the site. You have to make a reservation for the upper site and it is a longer hike. Once again, really nice staff and really neat history.

Awesome beauty. Grab some water and get out of the city. Be smart and take care of our back yard. It's a little slice of paradise in the desert.

Where else in the world can you find this level of diversity in the ecosystem from desert, lakes, rivers and forest. A true wonderland for the outdoor adventurist. Arizona has it all.
