Tonya Kinsinger, APRN, Gilbert AZ

My father went in to see Tonya in December 2019 for a palliative care, pain management visit. He had stage four prostate cancer and died less than a month later. Tonya refused to fill his anxiety, medicine, his pain medicine, and his sleep medicine. My dad suffered for two more weeks before he was able to get in to see his regular doctor. She told him that she was unable to fill controlled substances for him since she wasn’t his regular doctor, in spite of the fact that they were refills, and he had been taking them for a couple of years. Her arrogance, indifference and total lack of empathy toward a dying 68 year old man was unconscionable and reprehensible. Tonya was rude, judgmental, accusatory and extremely unprofessional. I hope no one in her family is ever treated the way that she treated my dying father.
