Tony's Auto Service Center, Phoenix AZ

Took car in for AC inspection. Was told car was low on Freon so they filled the system - $150 for inspection and Freon. 3 weeks later, AC blowing warm again. Take it in and they tell me there is a leak in the evaporator core and then charge me $70 for the inspection.why wasn't this problem Caught in the first inspection before they filled the system and charged me the $150? Now I'm into them $220 and still don't have a functioning AC system. They wanted $3600 to fix the problem so I took it to the dealership and it costs $1700 to fix. Not a place I will take my vehicles to any longer.

Great service, patient with questions, and balanced on recommended services without the upsell pressure. New customer here and only wished I found them a long time ago.

Took my 07 Nissan Titan in for ac work, explained that 95% of the time ac doesn’t kick on, but the 5% that it does kick on, it works perfect. Shop called to inform me that one of my rear window motors needed replaced and the window was stuck down. This struck me as odd because I didn’t bring it in for window service and the window was up. Shop explained this was found during their courtesy check, then quoted me $600+ to repair, I declined because I’ve had the front repaired for <$400. Initially they wanted to charge me to pull it back up, but after some conversation they agreed the right thing to do was to put it back. Got the call that ac was fixed BUT it blows out of all vents and doesn’t switch modes, so now I have a problem that I didn’t have before. Was told they could go back in and look but they’d have to pull the dash again and this would cost me. Makes no sense to me. What I brought it in for ac not working, if I can’t change modes (which I could do before) it’s still not working. They did a courtesy check for what wasn’t being worked on but didn’t do a courtesy of the system before closing it up to make sure it was working properly. I’m a maintenance manager I an industry where millions can be lost in downtime, there is no way I allow my technicians to return a machine to a customer if the problem isn’t 100% and tell them we can take it down again to check what we should’ve checked.
I gave them a 2 because their attitude throughout this ordeal stayed prodessional

I recently took my mom's truck to Tony's Auto, and they took very good care of her truck. They are very transparant, nothing is hidden, everything is well explained. Scott and Mike both are very professional and very friendly. Thank you Tony's Auto for the great service!
