Trail Horse Adventures reviews
7Just amazing amazing amazing. Our guide was fantastic. Told stories and made us laugh the entire time. We can't wait to go back and do it all again.
Informative, beautiful, fun. The horses are very well treated, and riders are matched well with horses, and everyone was kept safe. It was so much fun, and I’ll do it again in the future!
Amazing place. Beautiful horses, well taken care of. My guide, Bill, was great. Very knowledgeable about the local surrounding towns and their history, sharing with me many stories and facts about the ranch and the ppl, making my ride both fun and interesting. Scenery was gorgeous and the weather was perfect!
It was a overall a good experience. I spent a great deal of time researching horseback riding in the Verde Valley with many stipulations such as pricing, are the horses well cared for, group size, etc.this seemed to be the best bang for our buck.
The horses were well cared for and looked very healthy. The ownership staff was very passionate about their horses and their care and maintenance.
Our group size was 6 people, my husband and I and another family. We booked the outlaw trail and overall it wasn’t that exciting. It felt like the majority of the ride we followed close to a road so we never felt “disconnected”.
Our stopped three times out some some historic scenes but didn’t offer to take any photos of us on the horses or any extra benefits. We never crossed a river, but maybe it wasn’t the right trail or the right season? Not sure.
The entry procedure seemed a bit…. Stressful maybe? There was really no instruction on how to guide the horses, what to do, or anything they helped you get on then sent you on your way which was a little nerve racking. My horses kinda had a mind of his own and luckily I had some prior knowledge to guide him. Otherwise, my husband who it was his first time on a horse may have been going in circles in the pasture for awhile.
Overall I’d recommend it.
The parking lot was large and their were restrooms across the street.
Amazing stables and staff. If your visiting the area i would highly recommend you take a trail ride along the beautiful River front.
My husband and I had the best time today at Trail Horse Adventures! We were the only two who signed up for our 11: 30am ride, so it was nice to have our own private ride! Our guide Keys was very educated on the surrounding areas, and we learned so much. Our horses were lovely as well, JD and Frank the Tank were so beautiful and fun to ride. We will definitely be back again!
Family owned and operated, what fun experience I had with Cowboy Keys! I booked the 60 minute ride and wish I would've booked for a longer time! Not only is the Perez Family very knowledgeable and experienced, they are also incredibly warm and welcoming and will make sure to match you with the appropriate horse. All of their horses are trail safe and this trail ride let's you explore Dead Horse Ranch from a different perspective. So much history in this property. It's definitely a must if you're visiting for the day or weekend.
