I showed up, spur of the moment, in the early afternoon looking for a place to leave my toy hauler unannounced. I was promptly worked with, and able to rent a space. I highly recommend them as they are very easy to work with, and are conveniently located near gas/diesel as well! I hope to one day be able to use their services again. Thank you all so much!

Haven't stayed here, but they offer propane at a reasonable price and the staff is friendly.

Way too many white trash tenants that are disruptive and pick fights with other tenants, and the owner allows them to live there doesn't seem to care.

My girlfriend lives here! She said it is quiet & the managers are willing to be understanding about giving enough time for move in & the occasional work in progress projects. It's great to feel a sense of belonging & she loves, HOME. That's what matters ultimately. Right?

Late afternoon on Sunday February 7th, we felt stranded. And then kept driving.

I don’t know what it is about this area – buuuuut, this lovely camp host was the ~only~ one to answer the phone, after calling nine others in the area, simply because they were on the way. Awash with relief, I thanked her profusely just for picking up the phone. She must have been surprised – I could hear the smile in her voice – she said “I always answer the phone. ”

As it turned out, she was hosting in the RV Park, was ~already~ closed for the evening and had only one spot left, one! Yes, she’d save it for me. “Just call me as soon as you pull in – I’ll meet you! ” She was incredibly warm and welcoming, not put out at all to have met us after hours. You have no idea how grateful we were… after stewing over calling all the other places. We even had quite the disaster calling another place where we had stayed before… (read on – you can find it.) We were soooooooo tired from driving…

The remaining spot was right up front, near the office and the shower, (which couldn’t have been more perfect, since we got there in the dark) so we didn’t have to hook up water. When we got up the next morning, we discovered it was landscaped and manicured beautifully, enormous spotless showers and paved. There were fabulous trees and picnic tables for all the sites. From reading the park map, I learned they’re open year-round. We couldn’t have custom ordered a nicer place!

To have the host meet us after hours, essentially coming to our rescue, was nothing short of magnanimous. It’s truly a thrill to share our adventure with others by posting. It’s positively our privilege to have met her!

We go through this area maybe once a year, and will certainly make this a regular visit. We can’t wait to go back!

Her sweet name was Geri!

Great staff, modern park with everything you need, close to Bashas, Circle K, Chase Bank, Tire Pro, Napa, Walgreens, CVS and a swap meet. It truly has it all.

After being away from Camp Verde for over a year, it was good to be "home".
Trails End always has clean facilities, laundry, showers, and it's very own dog park! Propane is available on site, with coffee on in the office, and friendly helpful people as neighbors.
Stores are within walking distance, (or short drive) as are eateries, grocery, gasoline, fast food, museums, visitors center, historic fort, and cliff dwelling ruins!

In response to Laura Meredith. She & a gitlfriebd had befriended a resident in the park. They later asked to store their motorhome in our storage area at the back of the Park. In doing so it was explained that storage were just that, only to be stored. Assistant manager noticed person rifling through the motorhome late one night in the dark and no visible car around. When approached to find out who was in the motorhome, owner got very indignant. Later complaints regarding their coming & going all hours, in others' sites with flashlite and original friend who lived in the park stating drug use & theft lead us to ban them from.

The staff seemed friendly at first but are very judgmental and "clickish". The park is just a gravel parking lot with nothing to offer. If you want a cheap place to stay a couple nights it would be ok, but if you want to stay much longer, I would recommend Distant Drums instead.
