Trails West Active Adult Community, Tucson AZ

Drove thru, guard at gate friendly, helpful. It's an older retirement community, homes and park models aging, very close together. Saw very few people out and about, so very quiet. Clean.

Wonderful gate attendant, friendly and personable. Beautiful gated community. My sister just bought a home. We were visiting.

Excellent community and well kept common areas. Entrance and community roads in excellent condition, and all convenient to interstate 10 and Tucson proper.

In my opinion, Trails West is the most visually impressive mobile home park on Tucson. The grounds crew and maintenance men keep this place immaculate. Haven't interacted with the staff but my folks have lived here for about 15 years and I haven't heard anything negative in regard to office staff and/or management. Although it is outside Tucson city limits and a 10-15 minute drive to reach midtown is required, the residents I've spoken to feel it's a small price to pay for the serenity of living at Trails West.

Very nice place. Just about everyone's yards are beautiful. Nice to have a greeter at the entrance.

We are very happy here. The park is well maintained and lovely. Club house and pool are immaculate. We love the lake park and the dog park.
Our neighbors are wonderful.

I have always felt blessed and privileged to live here. Our new Management is very creative. I like all the new things they are doing. Keep up the good work!

My parents live here and they loved it, enough so that when they moved back to their home state, they missed Arizona and the park so much that they purchased another home here. I don't have to worry about them being secure, and the park is very well kept! They have nice amenities, like 2 pools, a workout room, a library and meeting facilities for all to use. I am close to 50 and I will definitely consider Trails West for a home, my only complaint is that they raise the lot rent yearly and it's fairly expensive but I suppose it's worth it if you use the public amenities.

This community is beautiful. They have everything there. The homes are beautiful & Kent the man who showed us the homes for sale was wonderful.

Lived there. Not many friendly people there and management did nothing but gossip. My husband was dying and all i got was neighbors complaining if you touched their grass. I couldnt wait to get out and very happy i did. My husband was able to die peacefully with all his family with him. Neighbors at trailswest would have complained there were too many cars outside.

Owned a home for six years. Trails West is a very safe environment for over 55s, with great facilities.

This post is regarding Trails West 8401 S Kolb Road Tucson AZ. 55+ community. Kudos for all the volunteers that make this community a functional senior active community. Though, the activities are geared towards the 70 -80 age range the volunteers make this place rock. A younger age group is arriving and has not stepped up to integrate the age span. The management and owners are not involved in any of the activities nor do they coordinate or provide activities in any way. No room for change. The library is nice, outdated and needs some considering for printers/ fax and computers. The swimming pool is small and frequently kept free of debris by residents throughout the day during spring snd summer. The spa and pool are not handicap accessible. The participation in activities is low at best. Rent has risen. The home value has increased. It’s affordable living with good possibility of change. Owners step up to fill in the gaps and keep up your reputation! A quiet and safe place to live.
