Transitions Center, Tempe AZ

If anyone is in need of a child psychiatrist, I highly recommend Dr. Ghafoor at Transitions Center in Tempe, AZ! Every single person down to the front desk staff is fantastic. They were so patient with my children and the office feels very home-like somehow! My son is 5 and it was hard to find a place that would see him after his pediatrician prescribed him meds, and Transitions got us in extremely fast. I think we waited only 2 weeks to be seen compared to Phoenix Children’s placing us on a 6 month waitlist. I’m very happy we found Transitions Center and would suggest Dr. Ghafoor to anyone in need of adolescent psychiatric services.

This company has become a chaotic mess. I have been a patient for at least 5 years with no issues and great service from Channing. Management recently changed and several great providers left. I cannot get my medications that I've been taking for over 5 years refilled, the physician is MIA and nobody can't get ahold of her. Apparently no other physician is allowed to cover. I cannot wait to find out where my old provider went as I will follow her to her new location.

I've been coming to Transitions for about two years now, and it has been a truly transformative.

I've seen two providers in my time here, and both have been wonderful. They listen, they monitor my mental state closely, and the meds they prescribed me have changed my life. I've been extremely depressed most of my adult life but always thought I could just self medicate and make it work. I couldn't have been more wrong.

Plus, the entire staff is amazing! Sheza at the front desk is an absolute delight. Always friendly, always smiling, and so extremely welcoming.

Giving them 5-stars is a no brainier and I can't recommend them strongly enough
