I moved out of a Tricon property in October. I hated it there! The price was way too high, & they only wanted more money. The house was not worth that!

I could never get straight answers from agents when I called in, & I had maintenance issues all the time (a leaking pool pump, the smart home app not working even though the smart home feature is a mandatory charge on rent, a window fell out of the wall on top of my son because it was old & should have been replaced. I had to wait days for that repair, a fence blew down in my backyard, & they waited so long to address it that the neighbors just finally fixed it themselves. Oh & a green swimming pool despite paying mandatory pool cleaning fees every month, this was a result of them constantly changing pool companies & NOBODY COMMUNICATING).

I did eventually receive a credit back onto my account for the pool cleaning issues & the leaking pool pump, but only because I complained & demanded it. They would have never made that right to me on their own.

If I had an issue I needed help with, the communication was awful, & its even worse now that I don't live there anymore. I worked hard in that house & I earned back my entire security deposit. Now they owe me money & I can't get any answers.

I worked with a lady named Monica who processed my move out. I was given the completed move out document, & she told me I should have my check in 6-10 business days.

After waiting 10 business days, I still didn't get my check so I called Tricon. I was told it hadn't been mailed out because they were waiting for me to confirm my new address, even though I gave it to MULTIPLE people including Monica.

I was also told that the accounting team mails the checks out in the order that they come in, & they can take 30 days. I let the rep know I was already told 6-10 days & now 30 days. I just wanted to know when I would get my check at this point. I was told I'd get a call back because they were looking into this for me. This was on Monday, it is now Saturday & nobody has called me back!

All I am trying to make sure is that they actually mailed my security deposit check to me this time, & at the correct address. I can't even get that basic question answered.

If you rent from Tricon, you can expect multiple emails when moving in & an almost exclusively online process. They have TERRIBLE communication skills, and their customer service department is an absolute joke. The customer care agents shouldn't even be a thing because they do not have any information & will have you on hold the entire time while they reach out to other departments for answers that they should have. The costs will be high, the maintenance issues will not be resolved quickly (unless you nag them), & good luck if they owe you any money. You won't be seeing that right away so plan on waiting a while. Good luck.

These people do NOT give a damn about people they rent to. WORST application processing in the history of the world. Long story short… was in communication with Candace, the agent at Tricon. Had MANY MANY issues with the application process on their website, even contacted their web support. However, due their policy, another person filled out the application and was able to submit it within minutes of finishing my application.
So, due to their BROKEN website, I was unable to submit my application (on which I had spend at LEAST 4 hours). Not to mention we were trying to leave a domestic violence situation. They did NOT care in ANY way, shape, or form.

WHY ON EARTH WOULD THEY LET 2 PEOPLE FILL OUT THE APPLICATION AT THE SAME TIME!? !? !? !? !? !? Unbelievable! Unacceptable! And just right WRONG IN EVERY WAY. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

We had a problem with the hot water the day they moved in and they were out within an hour and fixed it within minutes! Great service and thank you Eli!

My friend Josh recommended me to Tricon Residential, as he is the superintendent on some of the homes. Josh, Jesse, and Chet have been amazing! They have very minor issues, just like it would be moving into any home, and they immediately resolved them. The customer service from those three guys has been superior, and beyond my expectations.

I didn't end up renting a place through Tricon, however, Maria Cervantes is wonderful. She was very attentive and answered all my questions. I appreciated the professionalism and customer service I received.

When we got in our house it was Filthy. The landlord is Tricon and they didn't clean the house between tenants. Disgusting! When I moved in I was in the middle of cancer and it would have been nice to have gotten a clean home. They are terrible at getting back with you if you need anything. They also make really cheap repairs if they repair. Not a good property management company at all.

I am still extremely impressed with this company. The day we were scheduled to move in, they had one of their employees meet us there, walk through the home with us, anything that we found that needed to be done or fixed the gentleman that was with us made note and it was scheduled and fixed with in a couple days if not the very next day. Also he was open point of contact for any work or repairs etc for the next 30days. We called him, we didn't potty in a work order we directly called him. We have rented most out life, we were buying a home and had to move due to failure to disclose. Tricon had a couple rentals in the area we wanted etc, we were a rush to move due to health issues caused by another home. From the time we put in our application to the time we moved in the process was so easy, simple, and everyone we talked to went beyond and above to insure that everything was going well, and the dates etc. In a extremely stressful situation (not caused by Tricon) Tricon not only made us feel comfortable, they reduced my stress, they made me feel like family. I have 2 service dogs which Tricon of course needed to verify, they made that progress so easy also. The maintenance staff is absolutely wonderful, repairs are done in a timely manner. I am still (words can't even describe) beyond impressed. Thank you Tricon!

Jay Johnson was Awesome! We called Tricon because of a few plumbing issues and they sent out Jay. He arrived on time first thing Monday morning. Was polite and extremely knowledgable. Not only that, he went above and beyond to address some additional questions and issues. Thanks Jay for all your help. Great service!

Jayel Johnson was very thorough with his maintenance inspection and fixing the issues that we had in our home. He came in a timely manner and fixed ever issue and concerns I had.

We decided to move to Arizona found the house I love and grabbed it. All paperwork was done on the computer which was extremely helpful since we were in California. Our house had been empty for sometime so of course we had some issues, but one call and someone was out right away. Today I had a issues with a door and Sylvester came out took care of the issue explained to me what was happening and even set my ac on the proper settings to save on our electric bill. He was very polite knew what he was doing and super helpful so I just had to give a review and shoot out.

Tricon has awesome handymen - Wesley Young is always so personable and kind. He remembers me and makes me feel comfortable with all interactions. He is extremely knowledgable and fast and always allows time to ask questions and to make sure things have been done satisfactorily. Thanks, Wesley!
