Trident Security Services, Phoenix AZ

Trident Security patrols Westgate Entertainment District. Early this evening, several friends and I parked in a near-empty lot with plans to grab dinner. It should be noted we all drive Mustangs! First of all, I understand the stigma. Modified sports cars + vast parking lot = potential trouble. We aren’t rowdy or noisy however, and literally nothing illegal or “annoying” occurred that warranted the behavior of two Trident officers. Within minutes of parking, these buffoons approach us and the female officer explains, “You guys need to leave. ” Huh? For what reason? We attempted to plead our case as she took photos of every license plate, and threatened to call Glendale PD. Completely unnecessary considering we did nothing wrong, and if our vehicles had all been Kias and Toyotas, nobody would have bat an eye. After explaining we had plans for dinner, the male officer said, “If you were getting food, you would have it by now. ” What? Makes no sense. As I stated earlier, we had pulled up less than five minutes prior. The male officer in particular was extremely unprofessional and aggressive. One friend was understandably upset with the situation, and the officer reacted by swinging his hydroflask at the windshield of my friend‘s car, threatening to shatter it. He also made several obscene gestures to all of us and followed it up with stupid comments like “Bye Felicia! ” Westgate lost hundreds of dollars of our business due to a stereotype and the false assumptions made by these officers. Anyone reading this will likely assume there’s more to the story, but there isn’t - all of us stood outside our vehicles, respecting the area, waiting on a couple more friends to arrive before filling our stomachs. We barely got a chance to say “Hello” to each other before getting unfairly kicked out and threatened. Scumbags.

Terrible company. They care about money only and definitely you can't defend yourself if they want to get rid of you. They simply remove you then ignore you and won't help you find a job. Go to Allied Universal Security instead much better.

Terrible company to work for. I never ended up working for them, but I did attend the orientation/guard card training at the Phoenix location after being interviewed in Tempe which was a complete joke. We weren’t even armed guards, but yet, we spent time talking about firearm training. It was a full 8 hours too and I didn’t feel that I learned anything at all. They fingerprinted me and did my background check and then said it would be about 3-4 weeks before my guard card would be ready and I could work at a sight. Five weeks passed and they never contacted me. I called them back and they said that they couldn’t find a site for me and that they would keep looking. I ended up taking another job not long after and they never called. Tridents pay is terrible too. Not much above minimum wage.

Was recently let go due to COVID. Upon this I was given an additional week working at a different location (PCH) original location Shamrock Foods. I filled unemployment the day after being let go and was offered what was inferred to and tantamount to an ad-Hoc position. After that tenure I was informed that I was a no call no show. I was informed this by PCH (trident) hr. I asked what did they have me as an she concluded also that I was scheduled for only the Wed-Sat. So along with her I am unsure as to why this was possible. Fast forward to now I was denied unemployment due to rheir egregious defamation as to saying I quit, that is not my work ethic. So after contacting unemployment they said, well thats what they told us. So I called tridents HR and he said, well thats what the site manager said. So I'm retired military and am used to so semblance of order and they operate in organic structure. I am a business student as well so this is just perplexing to me. The left not knowing what the right is doing, total ambiguity, lack of common communications, market culture, and what it seems as a hand in government influencing without any type of due diligence. So please take heed before applying.

Went in for a scheduled interview person who did the interview got my name wrong three times and kept sucking on a milkshake that she had from lunch.she spent maybe five minutes talking to me and then was dismissive I will not work at a company that put such a bad first face forward

I been in security for 22 years and I apply for trident security 6-7 time and everytime I received an email saying this.

Fly by night organization, very dysfunctional, never returns email was essentially on my own in trying to obtain the guard card with no feedback coming from this company, stay far away from this company
