Tropica Mango Rare and Exotic Tropical Fruit Tree Nursery reviews
20Very friendly, informative, and a good variety. Did not expect to be given such detailed notes on care and replanting. Heh that was amazing.
This is the best nursery ever! The owner is very pleasant, helpful and always responds with answers right away!
The owner is very nice and helpful. I have a mango and 3 in 1 citrus I purchased from here both in the ground for 2 years now and doing great.
The guy who runs this place is quite shady in how he conducts his business and gives out copious misinformation. His word is worth little or nothing when it comes to following through on anything like calls/texts, arrangements, hours, information, etc. Not to mention many of the expensive exotic variety of plants he sells will not survive or produce as he purports here in the metropolitan valley. Buyer beware.
I have known Alex since the early 2000's when he was on 32nd St & Baseline in PHX. Great guy, honest, and knowledgeable. He will tell you what will have a good chance of success and what won't.
Great place to shop for food trees and plants, and if you have kids dont forget to feed the coi fish when you take a break in shopping! The inventory changes so make it a regular stop to keep up with the wonderful varity of plants!
All the hard to find plants and trees you've looked everywhere for, they're right here. Great selection, exceptional service, and unequalled knowledge.
We purchase a fruit salad tree, an orange and a tangelo, also a Bordeaux fig tree, an apple and a pear tree two years ago. Although too young to bear fruit yet, they are wonderfully strong, beautiful. They all flowered profusely, though. The apple tree bore a dozen apples, the fig tree bore many very small figs and one humongous one.can’t wait for the next I like this nursery and the guidance Alex provides.
He had several fruit salad trees in stock. We were able to purchase espalier tree w 3 different apple varieties on it.doing well. I have tried to grow blueberries for years with no success. He explained which varieties we should plant the type of soil and filtered water. The blueberries are doing very well.we were so happy we bought a blackberry too. All plants are healthy and growing.
This is THE place to come for exotic plants and rare fruit varietals. Not cheap, but frankly, if you want a rose apple tree in Arizona then any price is a fair price.
Was passing through town and wanted to get a Ice cream banana. They made zero effort to help me out or even suggest somewhere else. Plus what kind of nursery is closed fri-mon? Very disappointed
This place is amazing! If its not too busy, they will give you their undivided attention! Super knowledgeable and they have care sheets for the plants. Many varieties of plants and a beautiful garden. Best place for moringas. Worth the trek!
Love coming here! Check Facebook for most up to date for hours and what's in stock. Alex is so helpful
People where friendly. But was very sad walking through this Nursery wasn't very well kept and half the plants were dying and very lethargic looking. If you feel like rescuing a plant this would be the place to go.
Extremely helpful and willing to provide information on caring for plants (unlike others). Responds to text requesting troubleshooting advise!
Bought a bare root pluerry today
Alex is always pleasant, knowledgable and carries a fun variety of fruit bearing plants.
Many selections of fruit trees as shown in the images uploaded. Avocado, banana, cherry, grape, guava, dragonfruit. The owner is very knowledgeable about his plants and all are large in size. Worth your money. It's a little difficult to find what you want by yourself, but the people working there are more than happy to help. And they've got a koi pond!
Alex is a very knowledgeable man who knows his fruit trees. Every experience I've had at this nursery has been a great one. Every tree I've purchased here has done fantastic! I will continue to shop at Tropica Mango For my fruit tree needs.
Lots of great rare and tropical plants, knowledge about how to grow them. He gave me care sheets for the more difficult plants I bought and was honest about which ones will be easy and which ones I will have difficulty with. I included a picture of some of his banana plants that are in the ground.
