Tru by Hilton Goodyear Phoenix West

It was very very clean. Can smell the cleaner when opened the room door breakfast was decent, could have been kept a little warmer though. People enjoy the common/group areas in the evening. The outdoor area was especially nice. Staff was very very friendly. Is a pretty upbeat place to stop and relax from the road.

Very basic hotel with lack of furniture in the room; such a comfortable chair and dresser. If all you want is a place to sleep for a few hours, I would recommend but if you’re going to be spending any time at the facility upgrade to another Hilton Brand

Easy one night stay on our 2 day road trip.

For some reason we didn’t have a trash can in the bathroom. The shampoo and hand soap bottles kept falling apart. We ran out of toilet paper and tissue. If we asked for anything it seemed to be a bother for the staff. Hallway was never vacuumed crumbs everywhere. Elevator sounded like it was gonna break any minute. It was just one thing after another But it WILL BE OUR LAST TIME STAYING HERE.

Upon arrival to the hotel it looked nice and new, walking in we also seemed to think it was a good choice. Getting to the room we found no bags in the trash can, food/crumbs on the floor, shower ammenity bottles were dirty and the shower/floor hadn't been cleaned properly. We decided to look over the beds and found crumbs/hair in the sheets - they weren't changed and simply just reused. After the bed issue we didn't feel good staying here, brought our issues up and was given another room. The second room did seem to be much cleaner but the whole floor including our room smelt like greasy fish. Overall was one of the worse experiences in a hotel, we will most likely not choose to stay with hilton in the future as this was the second hotel in a week that was in the chain that gave us a 1-2 star room at best.

Sad that a brand new hotel looks and feels like it is 10 years old. We checked into the room, and my wife said it feels wet and humid in here. We noticed that the bathroom shower head was not screwed on properly and was leaking water on the back side of the shower enclosure. This had cause the wallpaper to separate, and we noticed rust and mold.

On our second day, we found out why the bedroom felt wet. There was a hairline crack that was about 20 inches long amd water was leaking our of the shower enclosure and running under the bedroom floor. The whole side of the tile floor was soaked with water and everytime we stepped on the floor water came up through the floor. We also noticed black mold.

If travel please stay some where else.

This hotel feels like a temporary truck stop. It “did the trick” for me, and was quiet to sleep, the amenities are acceptable, the rooms are clean, check in was very easy in the Hilton Honors app (don’t even have to go to the front desk and can get a digital key that works from your phone to get in the building and into your room; very cool) - the blinds in my room were broken and came out of their track which was disappointing that they didn’t take the time to fix them for the next guest. I don’t know - just feels waaaaaayyyyy overpriced for what is on offer, and very underwhelming for the Hilton brand, kind of an embarrassment in that way - but the employees were friendly and attentive when called upon. For some reason however, and I guess I can’t put my finger on it - staying here left me wanting more for the cost.

Fertilizer in field was strong. Friends found condoms in hair drier. Bathroom door stuck to the tile floor.

Rooms were clean and smelled fresh. The linens were freshly washed and stain free. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful but seemed to struggle when doing the same things over the phone. Was hung up on once (accidently I assume) and staff was a little short while on the phone. In person everyone was great so maybe a little phone etiquette training. Pretty good prices and overall 5 stars.

- 1st room (423) had no A/C, 115 outside temp 100 degrees in room.
- 2nd room (424) had bugs in the shower and no towels
-3rd room (316) moldy showers with food on floor from previous guest.

LADY AT FRONT DESK COULD CARE LESS. She was on her phone hiding in the corner not paying attention to the line waiting at the desk.

FYI being a diamond member means nothing at this hotel. No apology, no bottled water, no verbal communication. She literally didn’t speak, with the exception of wanting to know what kind of bugs were in the bathroom.

Place is a joke.

The rooms are spacey and include a private desk area with sliding windows with great views of the sunset.

This is the low-price fare from Hilton. It literally looks like a college dorm. It’s probably designed for college kids and families on a budget.

This particular hotel is new, spotless and you get what you pay for but in June it actually seemed overpriced at $125 a night!

Clean and well maintained just like other Tru. I like that the shampoo and body wash are all in dispenser, so I don’t have to keep asking the housekeeper for more. Clean towels and clean sheets!

Newer hotel was built, with no carpetin the room, the thermostat was busted (couldn't adjust the temperature), my coworkers tv was busted no microwave, good coffee-tea selection, noisy lobby due to design (pool tables etc.) Price should be lower for room accommodations

Wow, I didn’t know the Nickelodeon hotel made its way to Hilton properties! The style, themes and colors of this hotel are a gaudy monstrosity! Low value for the money spent. Good location for being right off the 10. Other than that, not staying again.

It was my first time staying at a Tru by Hilton.
I love the modern decor and layout.
Plenty of restaurants and stores in the area.

It was newer hotel, kinda on the small side. Two bed room with no walking area bewtween bed and tv stand, Narrow. Clean.drunk younger people playing pool in the lobby. Didnt expect to see people getting wasted and playing pool at a hotel, especially with kids around. Couldnt let me kids go play in the area due to this. Water fountain in lobby had standing water on floor.

A bit out of the way this hard if you don't drive. The staff are great. The rooms are large with limited storage possibilities. There is not much nearby except for a pf chang's and a BJ's brew house.

Ok if you don't mind a filthy tiny room for a short stay. Staffs great and friendly lobby has lots to do (games pool snacks) breakfast is decent but the rooms are filthy. And good luck trying to get them to clean them. Room service is by request and if you call to request it you'll be bartering for what they'll actually be cleaning. They mostly just want to drop off new towels and take out the trash. As I found a previous guests false eyelashes in my bed I asked for the sheets to be changed and was able after some negotiation to get them to agree. The emergency escape route sign was glued to the floor when I got here making a trip hazard which I thought was weird u til I realized it had just called adhesive side down from the back of the door. Then the walls have dirt smears and scuffs from all previous guests on them ina edition to dried drops of food and what appears to be blood. The bathroom light is covered in a splattering of what appears to be blood as well, which I didn't notice until my last night or I would have Changed rooms. Also the blackout curtains in a lot of the rooms don't fully open/close as they're poorly installed. There's also nowhere to put clothing or a suitcase save for 4 hangers over your refrigerator and some wall legs for coats. Def get the 2 queen room to have any functionality/a ace to put your stuff. I was here for work so definitely not my choice. I will say I've stayed in trust in other places that were at least clean but also all with no staging for a suitcase so the lack of cleanliness is exclusive to this location.
