TruWest Credit Union, Mesa AZ

My experience here has been pretty good! I went in wanting to get a new credit card and had to open an account to do so. The inside is very clean and roomy. Service was great clear and to the point. With no fees to keep open a small account for a credit card, it's a great place!

When I bought my car truwest financed it and set up automatic payments. After almost three years they quit taking the payments. When I called them they acted like it was my fault and said they had mailed and emailed me information on how to set it up again because of some glitch on their part. Twice I was told I would receive that information and I never have. And every month it takes hours to get the payment made because their website is so ridiculous. It says my routing number is not correct; I only have one. There's a place where you can set up payments but apparently I don't qualify for that. I will never do business with them again.

Why isn't your branch at Dobson and Elliot in Chandler listed with all your other branches on your web site. Just wondering!

We signed a mortgage with TruWest in December 2018. In February, we noticed that our payments were being applied mostly to interest, not principal. We spoke with TruWest representatives on two occasions. Once we were told we would have to call and request each time a payment was made that we wanted our payment to be applied to the principal. The second time we were told that it was a mistake, that future payments would be applied to the principal.

Stupid me, I believed them, and didn't double check. The past 5 months of payments have not be applied to our principal. I doubt any of them ever will, and I will actually have to call every month to have them redo the payment.

Opening a new account was very easy with the help of the knowledgeable and helpful people at this Superstition Springs branch.

I have a student account so this is my first experience with a bank. They have made it very easy for me to understand and to manage my account. I appreciate the incentives for opening an account, they were a nice treat! I plan to be with TruWest for as long as they'll have me.who knows, maybe I'll be applying for a home lone in the next 5 years:)

The people in this branch are always very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. I have banked at many other institutions over many years and this branch is among the very best. In the very few instances that I have had a problem or concern, it has always been resolved quickly and without stress. I would not bring my business to any other institution.

The employees are always friendly, and make every visit a pleasant one. Ive had Truwest for years now and have never had a complaint.

Always friendly and eager to help their members and the community! Do yourself a huge favor, dump the big, profit driven banks and join TruWest Credit Union. They care about people.

I've been with TruWest for going on 6 years and in that six-year period of time I have only ever had two problems which were taken care of in the time period of one hour tops best place I've ever had the pleasure to be a part of highly recommended in my eyes

They fixed the multiple accounts I had to make it more practical. Helped with closing a Payee account no longer needed.

I have been banking with TruWest Credit Union for almost a year now. The experience is quite pleasant with them. Every time I walk in the door I feel welcomed with every smile. I love that I also get to work with a banker 1 on 1. Shannon Asmus as been a Tremendous help since I started banning with TruWest.

I bank with a reciprocating credit union, however, TruWest is my "go to" bank. The branch is close to my house and the employees are always friendly and happy to serve. Convenience is key for me and having a reciprocating agreement with other credit unions is very much appreciated.

I give three stars because the staff are very helpful but the back policies suck. I can't wait to move my loan out of this bank.
