After previous great experiences with truwest, my husband decided to open a business account with this branch. Upon entering, to gather further information, before being greeted or acknowledged as a member, the teller he approached rudly stated you HAD to be a member to open an account. Granted he walked in with casual clothing (pants, polo tshirt, sneakers) we believe this was based off appearances alone. Really disappointed in the conduct of this branch after years of doing business. We quickly decided to proceed into a near by Wells Fargo which we were greeted entirely more professional & friendly.

Been a member for 10+ years and signed a grateful ex-BoA friend on. I do the majority of my banking at this branch, the clerks are always super helpful and nice. They also have free coffee/tea and couches!

I just bought a car with a loan through TruWest. I went to the website to set up my payments. The first time I set it up it disappeared completely so when my payment did not go through, I logged in and set up payment again. I called customer service to make sure it was set up correctly and they reassured me it was. The second time it failed to come out of my account my husband called and the person on the phone set up another payment to come out yesterday. When it did not come out again, I called and while on the phone discovered that my payment was set to come out in 2020! The customer service person I was speaking to was not helpful or apologetic at all. In fact, she basically blamed me and said that the website could be confusing and she offered to take payment over the phone. FOR $15 fee! It should not be this difficult to GIVE your company money. I will be looking to move my loan elsewhere due to the fact that I have attempted to pay you on several different occasions and refuse to pay a late fee for this, also because your customer service reps are terrible. Literally an, "I'm so sorry this happened. " would have gone a long way. That's customer service 101, - apologize and offer to HELP.

I recently decided to go with a local bank to help the community & also to have a more 'personal relationship' with my bank. IRONICALLY TruWest CUSTOMER AGENTS HAVE NO EMPATHY and not trained well

1st incident was when one of their agents forgot to order my checks so they didnt arrive for when i needed them. That was eventually resolved & i just hoped not to have to go through another frustration like this one again. I was wrong. 2nd frustration was when i deposited a payroll check & was advised that i would have complete funds available to me in 2 businesses days so i made sure i deposited it on time so i could pay my bills on time. 4 days later, i still don't have the funds available to me so i called & their outsourced rep reassured me that the deposit usually takes 2 businesses days for the funds to be completely available to me, so she put in a request for a supervisor to call me back. So 5 days after the deposit date, the supervisor, Yecine, calls me back. I explained to him my situation & my concern because the funds were not available to me on time and now i am left with having to pay late fees on bills. I was told i needed to wait 3 MORE DAYS for the funds to be available and instead of making me feel that he understood my concern and wanted to help me, he basically tried to explain to me why i should be glad that my situation is not as bad as other member's situation. I am very frustrated at this point and ONCE AGAIN EXPLAIN to him the urgency of the matter but i don't think he wanted to help me. Towards the end of the call he said there IS one solutuon and that this whole mess could be resolved if i provided certain info through an email before their closing time 5 PM (it was currently around 12: 45 PM when we hung up). So I RUSHED to provide this info & waited for a confirmation email saying either yes they received it & that they will be working on it or saying that perhaps there was more info needed. I THOUGHT WE WERE WORKING TOGETHER TO TRY TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE. They were expecting my email so that they can ASSIST ME FURTHER IN THE MATTER. EXCEPT THEY DIDN'T. THEY WERE NOT WORKING WITH ME ON THIS ISSUE. I NEVER received a follow up call or email. So i emailed them but no response (Figures). I waited untill i got out of work and called them around 4 PM. I asked to follow up on this matter and the agent (this time Efdras) barely knew what i was talking about & had me on a brief hold to come back and say "oh yes we did receive that email but now our manager is in a meeting. " SO YOU MEAN NO ONE FOLLOWED UP ON THIS MATTER ON TIME? He continued to say that there is nothing they can do and that the manager will give me a call back. I don't get a call back from the manager, but i do get a call back at 4: 50 to let me known that the manager is still in a meeting. ONCE AGAIN i repeated the urgency of this matter &expressed why i needed the help so he FINALLY transfers me to the manager (btw, he didnt even know his manager's extension. I hope that maybe he was just new). Austin, the E-services manager, is on the line now and i ask him if he is aware of my situation. He said yes but he didn't make me feel like he did so i i repeated myself AGAIN. He said the info i provided was not enough so that he couldnt help. IF THE AGENTS HAD PROVIDED GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY WOULD HAVE FOLLOWED UP ON TIME WITH ME TO LET ME KNOW THAT THEY NEEDED MORE INFORMATION. I PURPOSELY RUSHED TO PROVIDE THAT EMAIL SO THAT THEY CAN HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO REVIEW IT. And Austin ALSO tried to tell me a story about how my situation could be worse. Yes anyone can say that "it could be worse" about anything, but this is MY bad right now and i am asking for help to resolve THIS situation. Austin tried to explain to me over and over the reason why the agents said what they said and explain how TruWest protocols work. THE ONES THAT NEED THE TRAINING IS YOUR AGENTS NOT ME. WHAT HE AND EVERY OTHER AGENT I SPOKE TO DID NOT DO was to try to resolve the issue with the urgency i expressed, even though i did everything on my end to try to resolve it.

I have been with TruWest Credit Unionfor some time and they are wonderful. Great branch customer service, helpful phone help and easy on line banking. I would highly recommend anyone to make them your "go to" bank!

We opened up 2 CD's and it was such a nice environment and very quick and helpful. If we had an opportunity to do this again we would use Truewest to open another CD.
