Listen to me.if you do not have an appointment, you cannot get in. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE AN APPOINTMENT, YOU CAN NOT. GET IN.

I drove 6 hours to get here on a friday in hopes to renew my passport before my sunday flight, and was unable to even get into the building. The security guard will tell you to keep trying to call the number. 5 hours of calling and 184 calls later, i sat in the sun all day for no reason, and have to cancel my flight and lose my job. Do NOT make the same mistake I did and drive here without an appointment. Do not listen to other reviews that say they accept walk ins. THEY DO NOT

Number is incorrect here and on website. Sounds like disconnected. Also no appointments for the next 4 weeks in Phoenix. Who’s running these places?

Don't waste your time. NOT same day service. You have to call an 877 number and wait on hold for 2 hour to be told no appointments for weeks. Ruined our trip. Thanks.

The staff made this easy and painless. The wait to pick up your passport is brutal but that's my punishment for procrastinating.

Drove down here today from chandler. I had read multiple reviews that you can walk in and be given a passport the same day. I did have proof of travel within 72 hours amongst all my other documents. Unfortunately they are no longer accepting walk ins as of last week. Myself and 20 other ppl were turned away. Got an appointment and hopefully can still make it work before our trip.

Don't waste your time coming here unless you enjoy bureaucratic nightmares and government employees taking a sick satisfaction in ruining your day. The people working here don't know what they're doing, aren't paid enough to care and will give you wildly inaccurate information. Dealing with this passport center was nothing short of the seventh layer of hell.

My passport was stolen the minute I got to Tucson while helping a man in a motorcycle accident and waiting for the first responders with him. No ID and in a unfamiliar place during a pandemic is not a good feeling especially for a single female travelling alone. Hopefully I'll be visiting soon, 3rd times the charm! Love the sunsail!

2/18/22 – My husband and I took a trip down from Phoenix today. We have last minute travel plans for a destination wedding in our family and always heard you could go to Tucson. Well, the rumors are true with a few constraints:
• Same day passports are only available during this time with proof of travel within 72 hours – this can be by appointment or walk-in
• Same week passports can be expedited within two weeks of travel (again proof is necessary) and our understanding was an appointment needed to be made for that, though we never saw a phone number to do so.

Arrive with all paperwork needed, including proof of travel or you can email it to the office and they can print, as well as a photo (we went around the corner to Walmart, took 10 mins but better to show up prepared).

As long as you’re prepared, this is a breeze. This service is clearly in high demand and I’m not sure how their staffing situation is but they certainly handle their jobs grace. Everyone was SO nice and is more than deserving of your patience. Shoutout to Gabriel who made it a priority to make sure that we were taken care of. Wonderful people.
