UCars - Rideshare Vehicle Provider, Phoenix AZ

They gave me a car to drive for Uber with 335k miles, and then asked me not to upload any information about it to Uber because Uber may not allow me to drive it. It didn't have a radio. It smelled like an armpit. And I kid you not, parts were falling off while driving on the freeway.

Just go to Hertz and don't waste your time with this place.

Currently renting through them a 2016 camry, I have tried to call the front desk hundreds of times, zero response. I had mechanical work done and need the days pay credited for the time spent on fixing the broken car.thank you. I do not want to keep paying to rent more and more if they cant give me credit for the previous week. Thank you.

The Phoenix office should check all the cars before they are rented. I am currently driving a vehicle with a check engine light on, stability light, the tires are bald, and there is something going on with the steering wheel and axle. I’m expected to take time out of my day to take a car I rented less than a week ago to the auto shop? I don’t think so. I keep calling the office they won’t answer the phone. I was speaking to someone at one point. We were disconnected she has not tried to call me back. They may have moved offices from Tempe to Phoenix but did not pick up any professionalism along the way.
Ucars has the largest fleet of ride share vehicles. Unfortunately they are unable to keep up with their cars.not only the maintenance of the cars but sometimes the locations as well. It took me 30 minutes to find the car I rented. I had to take it directly to the car wash and wipe it down. It was beyond filthy. You can wait there in their lobby for 2 plus hours waiting for a vehicle. They also need to streamline their process so who ever is doing the contracts is in a cubicle or out of view, so they can process the applications much faster without interruption.
Usually the lobby is packed with new renters as well as current renters having their vehicles serviced. Lots of stories of vehicles not starting or shutting off!

Do not rent from this company they are liers they will illegally charge your card promise you credit not give them then illegally take your car and charge you outrageous prices I promise you be aware especially mike front desk he is the biggest lier be aware

Let's start with the fact they gave me the car dirty never cleaned it then when I started to drive it all the lights came on it kept turning off every time I turned found out it had no oil in the car 3 out of 4 tires needed to be replaced also that the transmission belt was almost completely gone I spent 2 days in the mechanic the 1st day I took it out the mechanics my tire popped and guess what there was no jack in the car horrible experience all the way around and they never have any one at the office to awnser pls so you don't go through what I went through go to another ride share place any is better than u car I almost died with my kid in the car cause they never serviced it before they gave it to me I told them and they pretty much said my kids life isn't important imma go to the news and let them know cause this is crazy

I usually don’t leave reviews but this is the worst company you can possibly rent from for rideshare won’t even work on payments with you never have I ever had a problem with a rideshare company or turning me off in the middle of the road. What if I would have been on the highway with traffic? I could have died. Never rent from them please. And also their cars always have problems constantly in the shop

Great place great service & Tanner made promises he was able to keep and backup. We have struggled with other places lying & deceiving just to waste our time, but not Tanner Craig! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that needs a rideshare vehicle. We were reassured by him on our way in because my son is 22, he said he would be able to get us into a 2023 Chevy Malibu & we walked out after about 30minutes (after being 3rd in line that is how fast they are) with 7miles on it. Great service all around, thanks for everything Tanner & U Cars!

Awesome service from Tanner, direct, straightforward, thorough communication, I was always left certain and clear when we spoke. They had the best deal, best price, the vehicle was new, pristine, the whole process was simple and effortless and quick and even enjoyable. Darius took really great care of me when I was picking up the vehicle; Jaren and Gilbert were very helpful and also kind. Thank you guys for all of your help and attentiveness and care. The teamwork was inspiring and the environment was entirely wholesome. Very grateful.

Prompt, courteous and the customer service was welcoming! Flew in from Baltimore on a Wednesday night and they had me set up by end of day Thursday! Literally the last customer. These two made my experience nice especially after receiving a brand new 2023. I love riding in style and they definitely have me sitting PRETTY, While making this money!

Their cars are in horrible condition. Driving for a ride-share service it’s important to have a vehicle that’s nice, clean and respectable for the riders comfort and pice of mind.

There are pros and cons to renting with UCars so definitely do your research and really see if this is where you’d like to rent.

This company is a complete scam you been warned so if you go in here and spend money that’s your fault

The new people at front desk needs to be fire especially the middle guy the light skin guy

I couldn’t say that I would recommend after my experience even if the cars are reliable. I couldn’t even look inside of the car to make sure I had all of my belongings. These people where extremely hostile not that reviews matter. Business is business.

I made my payment for this week and Ucars locked my car now I can't will to pay my rent

I like that I can drive for any rideshare app. With others, you are locked into driving for one.

I used Ucars about a year ago and I recently used them again! They have definitely upgraded since that time and have more cars and they are definitely a lot busier which is understandable given how much AZ is growing! Still Tanner was professional and stayed in communication with me through the entire process and the gentlemen in the front office were polite, personable and efficient! UCars is very busy and I can see why! They do GREAT business!

Got in a car accident and I was not in fault, because of the that they told me that I couldn't rent from them again and couldn't get a refund since I did paid for next weeks but will give me credit, credit for what?
Ucars don't care about you, treat you, like with hate and if you a nobody.
