Ulta Beauty, Surprise AZ

I'm sorry to say that the customer service is lacking. We weren't greeted, nor did we receive offers of assistance from the four employees that passed us while we were trying to search for shampoo. I felt too uncomfortable to ask for assistance when I needed help.

The one star is only in regard to customer service, I can't speak to any services that are provided.

I've tried several times with this place. I love how close it is to my house but this is legit the 3rd time I've purchased eyeliner here and it's been dry. I'm not a fan of the layout either.it feels junky like you are at the Walmart of beauty stores. One saving grace is that they have full lineup of Tarte cosmetics. What's a girl to do?

The perfect place to go (or not) if you would like your hair appointment time changed 3 times, and then canceled less than an hour before you go! Oh and I booked the appointment over a week in advance. I’d give 0 stars if possible

Sales staff not extremely helpful. Willing to point you in the right direction but nothing more. They weren't real busy so can't say they were "too busy" to assist.

My experience was great! First time in a make up store lost at first but my ultimate reason was to "beat" my face as they call it these days. Vivian was great, my face was pretty, and she recommended Mac for my make up needs. I didn't get a chance to look around but I will be back to what all Ulta has.

The entire time I was there I was no greeted or spoken to once, yet it seemed every white women around me were met with open friendly service. I even smiled at the employees and they just looked at me weird. Overall, tense and disappointing experience.

I love their deals and stores design it makes it is spacious and set up very well. The staff are very approachable, and helpful. I am the "what's the best for the buck" kinda gal, and they show me some great stuff. I always find not too cheap not too expensive catered to my needs. They get me:)

I had an eyebrow wax appointment today with Keiara and she did exactly what I wanted. I am very pleased with my service and will be a returning customer with her. I had a great experience with Keiara and 100% recommend her services!

I went to Ulta where Hannah was not only available to help me with all my makeup questions, but she was enthusiastic and happy to do so. She assisted me in getting new products for full face. Her recommendations had reasons behind them and her color match was on point! She didn’t try to just give me the most expensive products to buy. I truly appreciated being helped by someone who clearly enjoys their job. If you have questions about makeup and want assistance while purchasing, ask for Hannah!

Clean store. Was able to go to hair products and just find what needed. If an employee walked by I was greeted with kindness. Checking out was easy. I had no issues here. It always smells like im getting my hair done when not. It's a booster of a good feeling.

I had an Amazing experience today working with in with an amazing staffer named Philip he made me feel very very comfortable as he was knowledgeable about the product I was looking for and took me right to it Philip wasted no time no time acknowledging me and helping me locate this product which may which made him a superstar Philip took it upon himself to say something positive to me As he was helping me which made me feel fantastic O fantastic Philip is such a beautiful person inside and out and I recommend Anyone visiting the surprise location acts for Philip as he is incredibly amazing thank you thank you philip. What an awful experience in this store. I tried to return a product (maybe used twice) and didn't have a receipt. The cashier was fine, a nice girl, but the manager, Tracy, was not a customer friendly individual. When she was unable to find the product I purchased she stated, she could only give me one dollar for a $22.00 item. Then she said, " You could have bought this anywhere. " I buy products at Ulta frequently, (platinum status) and also had my hair done here for several
years. Very rude! By the way, Tracy, I bought this product online and the representive found it and is giving me store credit! (11/20/2021) look it up! Also, your manager Jessica, needs to help people, clueless! Zero customer service!

Had my hair done at ulta salon several times in the past. I’ve always left happy with the result! Just got hair done by Rebecca and she really turned the look out. I have olive skin with dyed blonde hair. If the shade isn’t right it looks terrible. She had no issues whatsoever helping my vision come to light. Will absolutely be back and always recommend the salon.

I wanted to take a moment and thank Hannah for her great customer service. Today I went to Ulta to see if I could return some products that no longer work for me. Honestly I was embarrassed to ask. She assured me she could help me. Hannah processed the returns using Ulta's best practices and did so while maintaining a pleasant attitude. She definitely exceeded my expectations!

I just got home from my appointment I wish I had looked at it more in the store it looks awful!
Multiple areas that I couldn’t see looking face on in the mirror hair was supposed to be all over dark with a light pink money piece
I couldn’t really see it until I got home and looked at it better but she absolutely could because she blew dry my whole hair and she let me walk out like this seriously so disappointed
