United States Postal Service reviews
13 Dishonest, lazy, and completely unreliable.
Delivery 'attempts' are always put into system hours before the carrier begins route. House is 75 yards from mailbox but packages always seem to be undeliverable.
Why can you stuff a mailbox full of junk but can't deliver a package?
My packages have been well cared for and the staff has always been kind and courteous. However, the location sure could use a grounds keeper. Pretty rough looking! WOW! Went to pick up mail today and landscape crew was working,! Place looks fantastic! Great job guys!
Medication coming by mail - driver didn't even knock and I was home. Now I have to cancel a meeting I was supposed to be at during that time to go to the post office to get it.tried to call 3 times, and they dont' answer during business hours.
The slip says my package will be available after 9 AM Saturday - but the loction has changed their hours. They are closed Saturday, and it's a holiday weekend. So now I won't have my medication until TUESDAY. Great job OV!
Not the first time I've had issues with packages. Actually the 3rd time in a year.
If anyone ran their business the way this location operated they would be out of business before the end of the week! Complete lack of communication professionalism. And they don't even answer their dumb phone. Why do we put up with this nonsense!
If I could leave zero stars I would. What is happening to customer service in general? It is non existent at this post office. I was expecting a package that I had to sign for and planned accordingly to sign for it. Instead, the delivery driver decided to not make the extra effort to ring my doorbell and instead, left a non-deliverable notice in my mailbox. This notice was the first attempt so I expected the driver to make a second attempt the next day. Nothing. When I went to the post office to claim my package, I was the first person in line and waited for 40 minutes for someone to help me. When I asked why the carrier did not deliver the package to my door or make a second attempt, I was completely ignored as if they heard this all the time. She instead said that everyone was at lunch and they always get a rush at lunch. Common sense could resolve that issue in a second but there doesn't appear to be any of that anymore either.
10 people on line, one person working. Super slow and this place doesn't care, at all.
If I could give zero stars, I would. If the USPS wasn't propped up by bureaucrats it would have gone bankrupt ages ago. The absolute worst service.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst customer service. No one helps out here. No one answers the phone when called. Bad attitudes from staff… Dutch door bell will get no reply.the list goes on. 0/10
They put my package on hold when it was supposed to be delivered saying the customer did it (I did not), couldn't get ahold of them on the phone called multiple times to be put on hold then a dial tone and the phone hung up. When I showed up myself it took them 20 minutes just to find my package and I had to give my information to them multiple times
This location is hit or miss. Some of the staff are super helpful but then some are super disrespectful and rude and expect you to know everything about usps.
This post office needs management/leadership change desperately. Their line setup to receive service is very confusing and the staff here clearly don’t care. There is a female staff here who is very unprofessional and refuses to make eye contact with the public/customers. This was my first here and it was a very unpleasant experience. I will not be back. After visiting this location, I understand now why the US Postal Service is a bankrupt organization and getting beaten to the ground by FedEx and UPS.
I’ve never had a worse post office experience. I have lived in the same place for three years. This post office is 100% incompetent. Drive out of your way to fulfill post office needs, trust me. My mail DOES NOT GET DELIVERED, they never leave the correct slips (with scannable barcodes) so they can actually track my packages. It’s lead to every.single.item.that has EVER been shipped to me through USPS to either get sent back (because there’s no 5-7 day warning from Oro Valley USPS!) or just “lost” entirely. I run a gamble ordering things off Amazon because it’s the only time I risk having to go through this truly evil postal branch…and sure enough, my infant’s changing table is now gone! “Attempted delivery at 9: 30AM” BULL. I WAS HOME. MY HUSBAND WAS OUT FRONT.
If I could give you one piece of advice- for the sake of your mental and cardiac health, do not ever deal with this post office. You will end up with anxiety and palpitations and missing packages, and nothing more.
