The employees here are very professional and kind. I felt their comfort as soon as I arrived. The compassion to serve veterans was outstanding. Amy and Mike are my new guardian angels. They kept me on the path for success. And to them I'm truly grateful for their guidance. May God continue to bless them in all their endeavors.

I was in usvets in 2007.2008 and they broke promises of charging for small kitchenettes. They charged me $480 a month and said after one year I would get all that money back so I would get a platform to restart my life.i never saw a dime. They are not in the veterans intrests.

Benefits and "decent" pay will trap you into thinking this is a good organization to work for. DO NOT fall for it. Management has no idea what they are doing, do not communicate or have systems in place to make things organized or congruent. If you have work ethic, you will have the joy of doing other people's job because they are too lazy to do it. And don't rely on management to do anything to hold them accountable. Management isn't doing their job either. Toxic work environment- gossip, managers being inappropriate, clients not being taken care of, funding being mishandled, forging documents in order to be "compliant. " They pride themselves on "helping" veterans, but I saw first-hand veterans being unfairly treated, thrown onto the streets and disregarded because employees didn't want to do their job or management didn't like them. I wish I would've gotten out sooner! This job is not worth the future therapy you'll need.

There was no help for me.they promised this and that.but because I took a week too long to find a place they could not help me.then last week I tried to get help cause my pay has short. Due to sickness and auto mobile accident.they said I make too much money. Example last month I made $1600 my rent was $1020.really come on

U. S. Vets is awesome! The purpose for my visit was to find out if they provided move-in assistance. Quite surprisingly, the first instruction they gave me was that if I spent even $1.00 for apt/house application, deposit, or anything then they would not be able to sponsor my move. Check! Great! Secondly, as I proceeded thru the steps U. S. Vets had outlined for me, they were eager to answer any & all questions I came across, and then some! After all was said and done (or so I thought) - e.g. The application made, the deposits given, the first month's rent paid, the pre-move-in inspection performed - they still wanted to talk more! Why? Another surprise! U. S. Vets even went the extra mile and completely furnished my new apartment - bed, table & chairs, dishes, microwave, and even an old television w/ rabbit ears (it works great!). Thanks U. S. Vets!
