University of Arizona BookStores reviews
12A university bookstore should provide students with access to resources they need at a price that is representative of the bulk purchasing ability of a university. The fact that I can get the same necessities cheaper now that I have a car speaks ill of this school. They do have some nice clothing though.
I am a big UofA fan and this is one place I like to shop to get Arizona gear. On my recent vist it seemed like they lacked different styles of items like caps and t-shirts. Service was nice and welcoming but one person seemed ready to close the store right at 5 pm and told me the store is closed. They then gave a not so genuine good day as I walked out. I understand wanting to close and go home but you could be a little nicer.
I don't live in Tucson anymore, so when I do get to town, its great to visit the U, and then the bookstore. Today I picked up a hat and a shirt, feels great. #beardown
Very large assortment of school merchandise. Purchased a coffee mug for my father. Lettering started to come off after first wash! Need to up your standards in the quality of your product that you sell.
Lots of accessories and apparel as one would expect at a university bookstore.we didn’t not purchase anything as the apparel seemed particularly expensive.
Great campus bookstore. Not only books but plenty of U of A swag. Good quality clothing and other memorabilia. Items like computer hardware and perefiral equipment make it convenient for students.
This place is very big, very clean, very well stocked, and very expensive. The main floor is mostly clothing, trinkets, and souvenirs. You have to go downstairs to find the textbooks. Don't know what that was like since we didn't go down there. I doubt I'd ever go back since I don't need textbooks anymore and the cost of everything else is way too high for me to shop there.
Awesome place to take a walk grab a bite to eat and take wonders in what our WILDCATS CAN OFFER
Beautiful bookstore. Laid out very well. Easy to navigate. Big, plush chairs to lounge in. Starbucks inside. Masks required at the time of this writing.
It hurts my heart to rate anything U of A less than 5 stars. Positives are also noted at the end.
Negatives (for us) :
My husband and I were really disappointed today. We were going to have limited time, so I looked up all the store options yesterday. We chose this one because the website said, "This location offers our most diverse array of products, " as it is their flagship location.
As previous customers of The A store at Park Place, we were hoping to find some updated, awesome and fun U of A stuff for the house and family. Everything, with the exception of socks, fan makeup, and teddy bears, was limited and bland. They didn't even have pompoms in the cheerleader section! Nothing jumped out at us as something we just had to have. I've never left a U of A store spending less than $200 before. It was a strange experience to leave spending less than $40. Overall, we bought the bare basics we were looking for. I'm going to try the other stores later this week to see if they are all like this. I also plan on returning here in a few weeks to see if the ASU game had anything to do with the supply.
As for the Positives:
The appearance is elegant, and it is clean and neat here.
Customer Service was knowledgeable about when some things would be back in stock.
Our cashier was pleasant, and was able to lookup the code for my item (because of course I grabbed the one hat without a sticker! ️)
My husband says, "The big TV playing yesterday's BB game was cool. "
If you're looking for higher end (and hopefully quality) jewelry and accessories, this is likely a good place for you.
Conclusion:
Maybe we were looking for more of a "fan" store as opposed to a "student" store.
The Arizona bookstore with a wonderful place I love to getting Starbucks and coffee in the comprehension books there are so cute
