We had a wonderful dinner experience here. The staff was so friendly and helpful in offering suggestions and the food was delicious! Looking forward to trying more dishes next time we go.

Food had so much flavor and love put in it, beautiful peaceful place, the waitress is amazing kind and very helpful and knowledgeable, thank you and will go again and again!

Incredible food, best Japanese restaurant in which we've ever eaten. Our daughter and son-in-law are " foodies" who live North of us, in
FLAGSTAFF, and they said the Japanese food here is better than at any place in Flag. The sushi fresh with great selection and MANY unique to this restaurant.the Japanese curry is exactly the taste I remembered from trips to Japan, and all the tempura dishes are done with such a light hand, using RICE flour for the
coating. Eat this tempura, and then that from any other American place will seem heavy and
pasty! From sukiyaki with the separate fresh egg, to the choice of seaweed vs.seaweed with thinly-sliced cucumber- everything
is just terrific.
This restaurant, under different management, didn't make it through COVID, and closed. It's now a one-Japanese-woman chef, owner, and staff manager. Saving to be able to re-open the tepanyaki tables - there are 4. When the tiny young woman with the GREAT smile comes to your table and asks you "Everything good? "

Absolutely delicious, very relaxing atmosphere, some of the most friendly staff I've ever experienced. Extremely fair prices for amazing dishes. I'm currently in the restaurant and I already cannot wait to come back!

The food was great, and the staff was friendly. While you could tell that it had just recently opened however you couldn't tell it by the quality of the food.

What a hidden gem! Prescott’s newest sushi place is a must-try. Everything is very fresh tasting and the service is excellent. We had the Pork Gyoza and Tako Yaki (fried octopus balls) as appetizers, along with some Cucumber & Wakame Seaweed Salad. We ordered as our entreé the Oyako Don (chicken & egg), Unagi Nigiri, and some rolls: Dragonfly, Wild California, and the Yellow Jalapeño. The staff is very friendly and happy to accommodate requests such as making the sushi rolls with their multigrain brown rice. We will definitely be back!

Best Japanese restaurant in town. Actually authentic. Great for dinner. Not the cheapest option but the quality is insanely good. Tuna is very fresh, eel is cooked perfectly. Also anything on the menu you can’t go wrong with. Definitely recommend.

Really awesome traditional Japanese restaurant! So far, the sushi, ramen, and tempura have been excellent. The spicy edamame is a stand out. Great cheerful service, and comfortable decor.

Truly AUTHENTIC Japanese food. So excited that they opened! We will be coming back. Highly recommended!

This place has potential. They need to decorate with some Japanese blossoms or something. I felt like I was dining in a cafeteria. The lights are too bright. They also need to serve alcohol or at least beer and wine. The name of the restaurant doesn't seem to work. It sounds negative, get rid of the "Un" The food is good, service is good but the place is so "BLAH". It could be exciting especially if they use the teppanyaki tables. They have a separate room of them gathering dust.so sad.

Unsui should be packed with customers every day of the week and it isn't. Hands down, the best sushi. In talking with our server, we learned that the restaurant is owned by a husband & wife who came by way of Japan. With over 30 years of honing in the art of sushi, nothing and no one comes close.

The restaurant is currently in the works to open its Teppanyaki area sometime in the future.

Unsui Japanese Restaurant is located just 2.2 miles from downtown Prescott. If you like sushi or Japanese cuisine, this is where you need to eat.

Such a hidden gem! We really enjoyed our dining experience. Started with the spicy garlic edamame. So spectacular! I had been wanting something just like this for weeks and it definitely hit the spot! Warning, it is spicy but so delicious! Next we had the Ramen and a Spicy Tuna Roll. Both were very fresh and flavorful. Forgot to take pictures of those dishes because we were too busy enjoying our meal. Great, friendly service. Looking forward to trying the teppanyaki this winter once they open that part of the restaurant. Highly recommend you try this restaurant!

I went for the first time a little before they closed to get takeout and the owners were very welcoming and nice and we chatted for a bit. The food was amazing and takes me back to when I visited Japan, nothing in Prescott compares to how authentic it is.

Just want to say, my son and I had an amazing dinner. The Philly salmon melted in your mouth with flavor. The dessert cookies were amazing. They are just getting started do give them alittle time. Look forward to going back.

I had the chicken and egg bowl. It was so delicious and filling! The ambience was really nice in here. I saw they had some teppenyaki grills so maybe they will open that up in the future or that was the business before. I hope this place gets some business because those who try it will keep coming back. I tried my friends ramen and it was so delicious! I will be getting it the next time I come. The garlic edamame was also a win. Luckily we had room for tempura Oreos for dessert.

Please give this place a try. There are many large tables for family and the decor and ambience is elegant.

I went there for the first time today and I will DEFINITELY go back!
The taste of the curry is absolutely amazing, tastes just like the curry I’ve had in Japan and it never gets old. I also definitely recommend the takoyaki! If you are looking for authentic Japanese cuisine, THIS is the place. Their customer service was also great and the interior looks nice and clean too.

Authentic Japanese food at a great price. The chicken katsu is very clean and not greasy. Chicken and egg bowl is another of my favorites. The octopus balls are phenomenal and again very light and not greasy. Haven't had the ramen here yet but my friends are impressed with it. He is a professionally trained chef who is a picky eater and keeps coming back. I have no complaints here. Service is top notch and very quick.
