Vascular Heart & Lung Associates reviews
6I had my first visit with Dr. Hani Shennib today. I was quite pleased with him and his funny, but professional office staff. I would certainly refer someone to this doctor.
Dr. Shennib is inconsiderate of his patients. The staff ignored to tell me of his absence when I checked in for an appointment at 8: 20am this morning. When I questioned the fact that I have been waiting for 50 minutes, the girl said he was on his way! I have fired this doctor.
Dr. Shennib and his staff are very considerate, kind, well organized, friendly
And caring. They treat there patients with respect and understanding.
A recent trip to the emergency room revealed an abdominal aortic aneurysm. The ER doctor recommended that I have this evaluated immediately. My primary care doctor referred me to Dr. Shennib for that evaluation. Upon my initial visit to Dr. Shennib's office I was treated with the utmost respect by the entire staff. Thank you so much Jamie, Erin, Kyla, Morgan and of course Maggie who followed up several times making sure I understood the instructions completely and making sure I arrived at the scheduled time for surgery. She, Maggie, is clearly a valuable asset, along with the others mentioned above, to this Superior medical practice. Last but certainly not least, THANK YOU Dr. Shennib for the professional care that you gave me, as well as the successful operation that most likely saved my life. Dr. Shennib's credentials are incredible. I suggest you Google him and see for yourself. I was very lucky to be referred to him and will be forever thankful for his dedication to helping people and saving lives. Thank you again, all of you, for the wonderful care you gave to me. JPS
I can't say enough good things about Dr. Shennib and his staff! In June of 2011 Dr. Shennib performed open heart surgery on me to repair an ascending aortic aneurysm. As I write this review, it's now been 8 years and many echos (ultrasounds) later with him and my regular cardiologist. Dr Shennib's work has stood the test of time and I will be forever grateful that he saved my life. Dr. Shennib and his staff are true professionals who treat their patients with respect and compassion. My only advice to new patients is that they understand and respect the fact that because Dr. Shennib is such an accomplished, and sought after surgeon, his staff occasionally has to push back or reschedule appointments when he has to go in to do an emergency surgery. It's a small price to pay for receiving such top notch care and knowing that he is saving another person's life at the same time. I honestly never expected to live this long after the discovery of my aneurysm, but I can say with 100% confidence that the main factor behind my survival is Dr. Shennib's skill as a surgeon. He is straight forward, but not arrogant and dismissive like some in the medical profession. I've dealt with a lot of doctors and surgeons over the years and Dr. Shennib is among the best I've ever encountered.
