Verena at Gilbert

Lovely atmosphere, clean grounds, nice staff, the ambiance inside is beautiful and comfortable. The residents are caring and supportive! Great place to call home.

This is an amazing independent living facility. The people really care and it is a phenomenal community. Highly recommend!

I love the floor plan options as we are in the planning stage. The details that went into making the entire facility so welcoming were amazing. Every apartment had its own private balcony; none were cramped. This was the only place so far my husband has given a sign of approval.

Verena at Gilbert is where I work.but it is so much more than a place to work. Our staff make Verena come alive on a daily basis. We have activities for all to enjoy. The meals are very tasty. Verena at Gilbert is more than a community, it is home!

Beautiful, clean community, spacious rooms. Great environment! Staff is amazing, Heather was wonderful to work with.

My wife, Marian & I have investigated many independent living facilities in AZ.and found none that provide more for the cost considering all the ammenities & benefits that Verena provides

Staff and residents friendly and helpful, decor very cheerful and upbeat, good food, many events planned. Location close to lots of shopping, medical, dental and eyecare plus bus transportation to same areas. Grounds nicely landscaped and maintained as well as the building and large pool area.
I find the following people so ready to help and assist with any problems, issues and all are so welcoming:
M'Chellan, Sue, Sheryl, Mary, Eva, Annette, DJ, Joey, Morgan. We also have very helpful servers in the dining area.

Love living at Verena at Gilbert. Plenty of activities. Food is great, staff is very accommodating. Especially one of our housekeepers, Isabel’s, the best I ever had.

My dad loves living here. He really enjoys the happy hours and events with other residents, the dining, and adores the staff.

I have met some very nice people and have enjoyed many activities. The staff is very attentive to the residents.

My wife and I have been living at Verena for a year now after trying two other communities. No comparison; Verena is far above the other two. If you are looking for a clean, friendly place to live with great food, this is the place. They just added to the Housekeepers with Miah and she is great along with Servers such as Morgan, Nina and Kyliegh added to Emily and Shaun make meals a pleasure.

Among the many feathers in Verena cap is its thorough knowledge of one thing:

A driver of that culture is Mary Weaver, whose verve and vitality keeps our spirits up and our days busy.
In the evenings, Annette Wieczorek manning the concierge desk sees to it that nothing and no one interferes with that while she finds time to solve any and all problems that arrive late in the day.

I got hired at this place as a server. The place itself is really nice and super clean. However, the training at the place was subpar. The second half of my first day, they had me expo and food run alone. I was told all the servers had a walkout a couple months earlier and that was a bit odd. I felt overwhelmed during my shift and management was no where to be found to help me. I had to figure out myself where everything was and I was no where near ready to take the dining room shifts on my own as I didn't even know the basic expectations of the job. For consumers it's a good place.but if you're looking for employment, it's very disorganized and they leave you to fend for yourself.

If you are looking for a senior community to live in, be sure to check out Verena at Gilbert. We left for a couple of years and we are now back and so very happy to be back. One of the greatest things about Verena is the food. We had Filet Mignon and Twice Baked Potatoes the other day and it was so good. Definitely restaurant quality! And this is only one of the great things about Verena at Gilbert.

My mother has been living in Verena for approximately four months. We couldn’t have picked a better place. She is so impressed with Morgan one of the new servers. Welcome Morgan and keep up the great job that you are doing.
