Friday evening is a happening place at VFW Post 549, Tucson. The food and drinks are very reasonable and people are friendly!
We came down to Tucson for a memorial service and everyone I mean everyone was overly nice and respectful and helpful.
Best VFW I've ever been too. Not an old run down smoke filled dive bar. Very nice, clean, well lit, and extremely well run and operated.
Wonderful Friday night dinner. The steaks were done perfectly, the green beans were wonderful, as were the sweet potato French fries.
Was one of the best places to socialize I ever been to. Sue and Stuff were very informative and helpful. But the young lady serving the costumers was the best of all. Thanks everyone there was pleasant to talk to.
Such a great little location! My friend invited me here, we're both Active still. The food and drinks were cheap and really good. The atmosphere was very upbeat and the other members are so friendly and welcoming. Definitely coming back
Best place ever. My 2nd home and family. Everyone is very friendly and a place you can come hang out enjoy a very nice meal.
Fun and friendly with many events. Surf and turf every Friday night, taco tuesdays. Other events starting to come back.
Steak night was awesome. Very friendly, food was great and very clean. We'll be back for taco Tuesday and Thanksgiving.
This VFW honors veterans that have endured combat during their enlistment. They also remember those who are prisoners of war and those missing in action. I'm a volunteer here and I'm surrounded with like minded people who are very kind in serving our community of veterans.
Excellent steak dinner at a great price on Friday's. You don't have to be a vet to get in, either.
Life VFW member, joined this post more than two years ago. Have asked in person, via email, & phone several times, to be kept apprised of post events. Thus far, nothing. Looking for new post. UPDATING REVIEW TO THREE STARS. New, well done email news bulletin from post with lots of info about local post. Thank you, new management.
