Bakery Village Bakehouse reviews
21My sandwich was great but I waited a good 25 minutes for them to make it. The store wasn't busy and they seemed to have plenty of help. I dont think I'll go back.
Met with a couple friends and enjoyed it very much. A wide variety of menu items and baked goods. Both the Corn Chowder and the Tortilla Soup were delicious. The Rueben sandwich was also very good. We got a couple cupcakes to take home and they were a real work of art.
Quaint, cute, little bakery with a wide range of pastries, cookies, coffees, breakfast and lunch selections.
Great small town bakery with many delicious pastry and breakfast choices! Mmmmm -you won’t be disappointed!
Too snobbish, not friendly for the steep price they charge you! Excellent cakes, but workers just are not friendly!
They made my wedding cake to serve over 100 people and not only was it beautiful, but it was so delicious. We had gotten the almond and vanilla flavoring with strawberry filling and it was by far my favorite cake I've ever had. Loved it!
If I told you how good their food is, go see for yourself! I always take a mini fruit tart home after eating there. Better keep that quiet or else there won't be any left for me! Their French Toast with the orange zest is the BOMB, too. Love this place.and the cheese danish.
Very basic American style baked goods. The use of sugar and sweet masks the lower quality baked pastries.
We went around 10am and finding a seat at a table that was open or clean was impossible. Coffee lacked any flavor. The ambiance is, again, very basic and geriatric.
I purchased a pecan pie and filling was runny and not fully baked. A huge disappointment on Thanksgiving Day.
Village Bakehouse is my go to for all events, parties, and holidays! I used village Bakehouse to do the cakes and cupcakes for my guests at my wedding in 2019. They have amazing apple pie and pumpkin pies which are perfect for the holidays! Village Bakehouse is like a part of the family now
We had our carrot cake wedding cake made here and everyone is still raving about how delicious it was! Moist and followed directions wonderfully.
I ordered a take-out sandwich which had NO cheese on it, and I ordered Havarti cheese. So I called and left a message, but no one called me back. Food is good.service not so much.
We eat lunch here 5-7 Times a month, and it’s, not the closest bakery and restaurant.we pass lots of grocery store bakeries, and we live a mile from AJs, but this is the best bakery, and we have used dozens of Tucson bakeries My extended family fly in from the East coast, Texas, and Montana. They would never return if l didn’t buy our thanksgiving, wedding, birthday, and christening pies, pastries, and cakes here. My grandchildren look forward to the bakery, for their birthday party treats, and the birthday party guests, invariably ask where l bought the birthday cakes, and cupcakes,
Great place for breakfast indoors and out. We prefer the patio. They have both heaters and fans on the patio to accomodate the weather. The staff is kind, courteous and they are happy people. It's a nice to see families with little ones here too. Not just for seniors. Outdoor ables fill up fast, so the sooner you arrive the better.
This is our 7th yr getting our cake from them. 1st was our wedding cake in Oct. 8,2016 & every year my husband gets a mini version of our wedding cake for our anniversary. They always come through with the most delicious & beautiful cake! Thank you guys for always making our anniversary just a little more special every year!
Expensive BLT and it was a small serving. Expected more from them since my aunt and mother had a great experience. Maybe it was what I ordered. Don't think I'll return
This place felt claustrophobic, rude, and confusing.
There was someone ordering at the cashier and we were in the roped line, next. We saw someone stand behind the person ordering and thought maybe we got into the wrong line. We stand and wait for 5 min. During that time a woman comes in and gets into the other line. The ordering girl sees this. We walk up and she tells us we got into the wrong line, points to behind the woman and says that she gets served first.
The way it came across didn’t even feel nice. We were over it and it was small anyway.
The cake was really good and moist. The price wasn’t outrageous and the floral frosting decorations were simple and elegant. Will be coming back for breakfast soon.
They made a wonderful cake for my son who is in the hospital. The cake was delicious and it was decorated so nicely! It was the best Spiderman cake I have ever seen!
Easily the best bakery in Tucson. It’s an old school coffee/bakery. Especially perfect in the colder months. Love this place. Cherry pie is perfect. Cin buns awesome.
