Vitalant Blood Donation- Chandler reviews
5One star for multiple daily spam calls begging for my blood for the past couple years, you vampires. It's the 21st century, go away with telemarketing. I'm intentionally not donating here again because of this.
Everything is nice, I just wish to have a cup holder for the water bottle, it's a little awkward to put it between my legs
Another nice little improvement I think could have is to appreciate the donor right after the bag is sealed and taken away, instead of after the donor saying goodbye. I know we all have our different reasons to donate blood and the decision of it shouldn't be determined by a little thank you, but saying the magic word really could encourage us to come back
Anyways will come back again.
My first blood donation experience was a little over a week ago. I was pleased with the experience. I wasn't sure what to expect. Everyone was very nice and answered all my questions. The lady who started my IV was great. They use a pretty large needle, but it only hurt for a split second. I had no bruising after, which was a surprise. I liked that they thanked me after. I felt like I did a good thing, and I will definitely be donating regularly.
Efficient and friendly staff and clean atmosphere. Recommend you answer the 50 questions before you arrive, which made it smooth. Help those who need blood…donate!
This is the most inefficient blood services that I have ever used. I had a 10: 15 minute appointment which I was 10 minutes early, and had to wait 40 minutes for a phlebologist to take me back to the interview room. I showed the phlebologist my fast track questionnaire and she had to go help another person at the information desk leaving me waiting another 10 minutes. When she returned, even though I had already answered the 50 non-sensical questions online that could be condensed into 10 questions, she was about to go over them again with me. Anyway, after an hour of wasted time, I was fed up and left without giving blood.
Don't get me wrong, the staff was pleasant enough but the scheduling of patients and redundant answering of questions is ridiculous. What should take 30 minutes to donate blood, would have taken 1.5 hours, if I would have stayed around to actually donate. I'll check around to see of there are any other blood donation facilities around, but don't waste you time at the Chandler Vitalant facility.
