Vito’s Pizza & Italian Ristorante reviews
32Very relaxing and confortable establishment. The atmosphere is very calm and the food was great and served in a normal short amount of time, we were all very surprised and enjoyed eating here as a family.
Absolutely the best Italian restaurant that I have been to in AZ. A Friday night date, 1st time for us both. The coconut shrimp was superb, we split a lasagna and it was just like my grandmother used to make. The atmosphere and staff was wonderful. Definitely going back soon.
They should train the people who answer the phone to act in a professional manner. Food is good when dining in, dont bother calling in to place order. Wont give them another shot.
The service is excellent as are the seafood entrees. Seating was immediate in the early afternoon. Thin crust pizza on our next visit!
My experience at Vitos was extremely great. Both the food and the service was fantastic, I would recommend asking for Vinnie as your server.
The restaurant atmosphere was very calm and not very busy for Friday night which is great! I also noticed that there were plenty staff available to serve their customers. Since the weather was nice, we decided to seat on outside table. What I love with seating outside is that on weather, they created little area with beautiful lights and fans available so anyone can eat comfortably.
Firstly, the staff were wonderful. Everyone is attentive and nice. Unfortunately, the food is just alright. The bread that is served is cold and bland. It would be much better warmed. They have 2 choices of butter but those didn't look very appetizing. My salad was very watery as if the lettuce had been sitting in water and not strained/dried properly. It's also possible that the ranch was watered down. I enjoyed my entree but it wasn't worth the $20. Their sauces were a bit bland as well. The proteins that were served were cooked well. Lastly, when people walked by our table, the floors would shake the entire area, it was almost comical. This place has so much potential and could easily achieve great tasting food with some simple adjustments. Overall, it won't be my first choice for Italian food. Pros are staff and location. Cons are food and price.
Beautiful place to take your family too. Service is excellent, so many memories from my younger days. Still love it till this day
Good food and wine. Cater to vegetarians deliciously. Fast friendly service.reasonably priced. Choice of indoor or misted outside patio seating.parking is a bear.have patience!
We had called to reserve a table for 4 and were told they only take reservations for large groups. Got there and it was crowded with a waiting list, no problem. Then I noticed a 4-top table with a Reserved card on it. I asked how that was possible, and was told that those were "good" customers so they get to reserve a table for 4. We walked out, and will never go back.
Absolutely, "THE BEST THIN CRUST, CHICAGO STYLE PIZZA, " west of the Mississippi! Ironically, I've been told, the dinner menu is excellent also, but I can't get past the pizza. Lol.
We go here all the time. There's a ton of great food here. The calamari is fantastic, the pizza is fantastic, the pasta is fantastic. We always enjoy our servers here. They're all very engaged and thoughtful. Definitely order some gelatto at the end of your meal.
Caprese salad and minestrone soup were excellent. We are still talking about the basil whipped butter they serve with bread.
Certain aspects of the [dining] experience as a whole are mildly questionable, but hey, life isn't usually all "black & white. " Needs more Pepsi.
Great place, I ordered warm salad: the chef burned all the cook veggies. Although the salmon is good. The waitress that serve us hardly check on us, somewhat rude when she served my plate.
Incredible! I'm still thinking about the pizza this morning! Can't wait to try other menu items. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Great family owned restaurant.
I had the seafood lasagna and I was blown away. Tasted great and a huge portion. In fact, I would say the portion is really for two people.
Excellent food, friendly family atmosphere, overall a great dining experience. Kim was very helpful & attentive. All staff that came to our table were extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. Vito's is now our place for Italian cuisine.
I didn't know what to expect coming here. We wanted good, down home italian food that wasn't over the top expensive. Well, that is what we found! The calamari appetizer is phenomenal! It was not rubbery or dried out. It was super tender and the breading is amazing. The drinks were well made. The service was friendly. This place was a very pleasant surprise!
I had my baby shower here, had a small room reserved. This restaurant is awesome! Good atmosphere and food, overall great experience.
